The weight of an arrow alone is that amount. This model does not have a broad head or a field tip.

The specifications state that the system can support a maximum of 250 pounds. What does this ?

Though I am not certain, I think it is meant to say how much weight the bow draws.

The validity of these claims is I am disappointed

It is at your own risk to buy. After inspecting the bolts I received today, I noticed four could not be used due to defects in quality, such as mis-size, damaged threads, and so on The shaft of the bolt was misaligned and had defects. As the blades are pushed into the slots, as well as after the lock rings are tightened, the blades do not remain seated even though the slots are filled. As a result, these items pose a risk in terms of safety, useability, money don't let it go to waste. It is better to buy a name brand and high-quality product.

The results are not perfect, but they are It's a decent set of I don't like how the shafts are never perfectly straight, there's usually a slight bulge in exactly the same spot every time
