These are supposed to be low-cost target bolts, according to what I've heard. That was my intention when I purchased them! The vanes began to come unglued after only two shots! I also noticed that the nocks on three of the bolts were out of alignment with the odd-numbered holes. a vane with different colors They were not in agreement with any of them. Because of the safety mechanism on the string on my bow, I couldn't fire them. The bow will not fire unless it is properly locked in place. br>br>Crappy bolts, wouldn't buy again, and wouldn't have bought in the first place if I had known about these issues.
I ordered 12 of these arrows, they took a month to arrive even with prime, and every single one of them had the nocks installed incorrectly. You'll need a pair of pliers to grab the nocks tightly and turn them to the correct position needed to work properly on a crossbow, and you'll be good to go. After I fixed that problem, I shot four arrows at 50 yards, and each one lost at least one vane on the first shot. Do not waste your money on these, and do your research and read reviews before you buy. It appears that all of the issues I had were already under review; I simply did not do my research on them as thoroughly as I should have. If the company can fix how they install the nocks incorrectly, and use better glue for the veins so they last more than one or two shots each,.
I bought these to use for target shooting. The first time I shot them, I took a couple out. The second time, I shot one snap going through the target. You should probably go through and pull all the arrows and check for cracks before shooting them. I found a crack in one of them. Other than that, great value for the money.
It's a little on the cheap side, but it gets the job done. If you try to pull the bolt out of a target with your hands, the nocks will come off. After a while, the fletchings begin to come off, and they are definitely NOT CARBON as the description claims, but they still work fine.
I like these bolts because they hold up well and have great accuracy. I only had to adjust my scope 2 clicks down and 1 click to the left, which could have been due to it being in storage for the past few months. My only complaint is that the coating on the outside scuffs easily, but that's just a cosmetic issue. Come September, it'll be used with my rage broadheads to get me a turkey.
The first bolt blew up in the x bow, and the second lost the knock when it hit the target with my x bow. Because of the low price, I purchased these. They are, however, garbage.
This was a waste of time. I assigned them to Killer Instinct 405. Some shattered, while others simply flew apart; for your own safety and well-being, you may want to reconsider; I would not recommend to anyone.
These facts are accurate and true. This year for hunting season, I've decided to give these a try and will purchase more once they're gone.
