Throughout my career, I have fletched many arrows with and without wrappings. Gold Tip Kinetic Pierce Platinum target arrows are small arrows with an OD of only . Recently, I purchased some Gold Tip Kinetic Pierce Platinum target arrows. It is 229 inches long. I decided on a wrap in order to ensure a good bond with the vanes. I also wanted a wrap that would fit with minimal overlap so the weight would be kept low. Those fit exactly with just the right amount of overlap, and they overlap by just a hair. The long fletchings I used give me enough length for 3 inches of cutting - I cut the pieces in half and used three inch long fletchings The price is also twice as much for twice as many wraps. I used wraps to adhere the vanes well, which is one advantage of using them. It was only the color I was unhappy with, but that is not the manufacturers' fault. As I was going for a bright orange colored fletchings, they did not have the look I was envisioning, so I ended up ordering some white ones instead. Generally, these wraps are very durable and functional and come at a reasonable price if you have Micro diameter arrow shafts.
