In the beginning, you will apply the AAE primer pen to the foot of the vanes, and it will need about 10 seconds to dry before you apply the max bond glue. This is necessary for the glue to set since these are made from a material that does not allow it to (It surprises me that people complain about having to do this all the time in addition to having to use the AAE whips. It takes about 10 seconds extra, and both products cost less than $15 together and will do hundreds of blades. There is also the option of purchasing hybrid vanes, which are similar, but they are made of a different material. But Second, acetone should not be used. The AAE whipes are very similar chemically to regular acetone, but regular acetone has an additive that leaves marks on the shaft when it is applied to it. It is the following steps that I take that cause my vanes to stick so well to my arrows (both aluminum and carbon since I do not use vanes wrapped in tape). Please note Br>- AAE Max wipes can be used on arrow shafts (then put the wipe back in the pack and reseal, the arrow shafts will last for years) Using the AAE MAX primer pen, apply primer to the base of one vane and allow it to dry under good lighting. There is no guarantee that these vanes will stay glued to the shaft of the arrow. The wraps were used as well as without them. I followed the instructions regarding acetone wipes and max bond glue but still could not get it to work. A lot of forums mention the same issue, and the option to fix it comes down to sanding the surface. In the future, I will switch back to Bohning vanes because I never encountered a problem.
I began using these after following Nock's instructions There is a video on YouTube about archery. It is a great set of veins, with no complaints on my part.
There is really no comparison to the noise level of your typical blazer vanes by these.
Quite a bit of stretch in my Carbon Express Maxima four-flitch.
I use these as the only vanes, after shooting them at the range a few times, a bunch of guys bought them as well. It is made from thick material and keeps its true shape. The clamps stay in place when I use the right helical clamp.
This was another excellent deal by my husband. He also got to work on his hunting arrows. Besides those two colors, he also got another two!.
Best vees that I have shot so far.
The best of both worlds when it comes to vane performance. Profile is short, so clearance is an issue, but the steering is still Despite being tough and durable, it is still very It is also very reasonably priced.
