My Centerpoint Sniper 370 produced a fantastic grouping. The only reason they don't get five stars is because the listing claims that the bolts come with 100gr field tips, which they don't. After the first package was missing the field points, I requested a replacement from Amazon. A second package had gone missing as well. There were no complaints about customer service in terms of getting a new package sent out. Please keep in mind that you must purchase your own field points. I used Montec G5 broadheads (100gr) after sighting in with 100gr field points. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> PileDriver's name and the claim that he's "BONE-BONE-BONE-BONE-BONE-BONE The pentatration "CRUSHING" is absolutely perfect! My first shot from my new crossbow broke both of the buck's front shoulders, but he still managed to get through. These bolts were a little more forward than I had planned, but they worked. I ran 20 yards and then stopped. br>br>I read reviews and conducted research for two weeks. You want to try crossbow hunting but don't want to spend a lot of money? This is what you'll need to get started: Montec G5 100gr broadheads, Centerpoint Sniper 370, Carbon Express PileDrivers Approximately $350 spent, 1 hour of sighting in, 1 shot, and 1 kill. There's no need to take any more pictures. Best of luck!.
Instead of six arrows, three arrived: Bowhunters Supply is in contact with me. br>br> * I informed them that only three arrows had arrived, rather than six, and asked if there was another shipment on the way. br>br>* No, a pack should have six arrows. If you're missing any of the three, I'll send you a prepaid label to this email address so you can return what you got. I'll be able to send you another pack if you let me know when you've returned the package to the post office. Thank you, Summerbr>br>* I appreciate the update. We do, however, have a problem in Houston: Two of the three arrows were lighter and hit high when sighting in at 20 and 30 yards. The two lighter arrows grazed the Yellow Jacket target and flew into the woods at a distance of 40 yards. From the original three arrows, I only have one left. Please advise (yes, I'll put a wood panel behind the target next time). Thank you very much. br>br>* If you used the arrows, I'm afraid you won't be able to get a refund on this item. The item must be returned to us in the same condition as it was received. The provided shipping label is no longer valid. We're afraid there's nothing we can do now that the product has been used or lost. br>br>* Have a nice day. Unfortunately, this is true: I bought six of them. Three were received. Receiving three additional arrows for a total of six would, in my opinion, have been a wise business decision on your part. I sincerely hope you think about it. I'm going to give Bowhunters Supply Store 48 hours to make a decision: If you don't - Then I'll leave a review on Amazon. Allow the community to read our entire email thread and see a photo of the item before deciding whether or not to do business with you. (Photo attachment is not permitted on Amazon. ).
UPDATE: I've switched to Black Eagle Executioner bolts, and they're a huge improvement! They're surrounded by all six of them in a tight group. I also discovered why Lumenok is not compatible with Carbon Express bolts. Carbon Express, according to Lumenok, utilizes a carbon-wrapped fiberglass bolt. They are incapable of withstanding the Lumenok. This explains why my Piledriver bolts shattered when I used Lumenok with them. This is exactly what they predicted would occur, and it did. As a long-time Carbon Express user, do yourself a favor and take a look at the Black Eagle Executioner bolts, paying a little more for the ones that are. They're well worth the 001 straightness. br>br>I use these on a regular basis and they're fantastic. I've killed 12 deer with the same bolt, and I'd like to see more neon colors on the fetchings so they're easier to find after shooting in the woods or field. With all of the green vegetation on the forest floor, finding the green can be challenging. My only gripe, which applies to ALL of the manufacturers, is that not all six will group together. You'll get three that fit together nicely, a fourth that's ok but a few inches off, and the other two that are all over the place. I usually order two boxes so that I have four bolts in my quiver that all fit into a half-dollar hole. This is true of every brand I've tried, and I'm not sure why.
Use high-quality arrows instead of low-cost ones. br>br>If you look around online stores (including this one), you'll find a wide variety of arrows. There are some places where you can get 10 or more arrows in a pack for a relatively low price, and you'll start to self-defend. justification for purchasing them You'll feel compelled to say things like "well, how bad can they be, *really*?" I'll just use them for practice!"br>br>Do not succumb to this temptation. br>br>While price does not always imply quality, it is often referred to as a Leading Indicator by finance professionals. You want a well-known brand that has a track record of producing high-quality arrows. Since you're a crossbow shooter, you'll want arrows that are specifically designed for the increased stresses of the crossbow platform, are the right length, have the right fletching, and ideally allow for interchangeable nocks. Furthermore, there should be no difference between the arrows you use for practice and the arrows you use in the field, so the arrows you select must be durable. br>br>These are one of them, weighing 342 grams sans head/field tip and being the heaviest in the Carbon Express line. If your rig can fling a 442 grain arrow at 300 fps, you'll have the best results. This is my favorite arrow because it is quiet to shoot, stable in flight, and hard hitting on impact. br>br>To summarize, in a 9mm world, this is a. 45 ACP. br>br>Moon nocks are pre-installed, but flat nocks are included, which I always swap out so I don't have to worry about the nock aligning perfectly with the fletching. It works for me, and I've only had positive results with these arrows. They're incredible.
