It is mostly for 9 year old boys but sometimes for myself as well. Over the last couple of months, we have been dealing with this. I was pretty surprised how durable it was in the beginning. Within a few weeks of practicing, I start to see indentations in the ground. As soon as I started seeing the marks, I noticed that it began wearing fast. I can now feel the concrete floor at times. The mat seems nice but I have to say that it seems very high quality. The mat is very nice but I must say it isn't very durable. Despite its MADE IN THE USA status, the mat began bubbling as soon as I received it along with the underlayment beginning to separate. The other items I chose to add on were nice, but the mat itself did not seem as good as it appeared.

It’s a good surface to have, but again I honestly hoped to get more use out of it as well. I scraped away the grass, so the dirt is directly under it. The dirt has been packed down so that the surface is nice and flat. It was a lot of what I talked about. The accessories were very cheap, but the shipping was extremely slow, so it gets four stars from me. I think this golf mat has a pretty good level of durability. Even so, it isn't as firm as you think. The padding is much thinner than advertised, as is the green surface, so you will need to place something underneath it. There's no point in getting the free ball tray, it's cheap and flimsy. It is a joke that the golf balls are not durable, you can break them in half with your hands. The tees included are of average quality. You only have a few stickers, so if you plan on using them, make sure you do it strategically. There is an old golf instruction video online, but it is still useful. As has been my experience, I strongly recommend looking at the instructor's personal page. However, if one is serious about practicing every day, I don't see this golf mat remaining in good condition for a very long time.
