Questions & Answers
A golf ball is about 1 3/4 inches in diameter, so it is slightly larger than that
Despite the fact that I did not bring it to Arizona with me, if I recall correctly it was about 4' tall
The ball stays in mine when I scoop it, turn it over, and turn it over a third time
I have never had this problem with a ball retrieval device, but I can see how it would be hurtful.

I'm in love with I took the plunge and bought a ball retriever after actively golfing for 5 years again. How easy it is to use is really appealing to me. You simply place the cup over the ball, press down, then twist it off (now you are jinxing it). In the 5 weeks I've owned it, I haven't lost a ball yet. Reviewers have reported that they were unable to get the shaft to compact again, since By pulling the shaft out, you keep it locked in place by twisting it. of the things I noticed after my first few uses was the plastic covers on where the shaft fits into the handle cover the shaft (like they are supposed to do) and make locking the device a little difficult. Upon sliding that cover up, you are left with a half inch or so of metal sticking out of the shaft to grip in order to unlock it. It has never caused me any problems since I discovered it. As a golfer, I play 2 to 3 times a week, and I have collected 61 balls since I began using this 5 weeks ago. That includes a few balls I've hit in the water and was able to collect. It seems I've been hitting near water recently, which means I have a better chance of collecting balls, or at least that's how I justify it! It wouldn't be difficult for me to walk or drive by each water hazard on a slow day on the course.
My only regret is that I didn't choose a 15-foot model. This might be of use to someone I work with The 15 foot rolls are ordered by the worker.
The first things I think before I buy. You can get it for cheap and it's convenient My hope is that it will work.
To cut a long story short, I have collected over 80 balls with it in some pretty gnarly areas where a human could not reach. For the most part, I did my retrieves in the half hour range It worked as it should for 3/4 of the length. Although it can get a little wobbly and a bit tricky to get over the ball, it does work when fully extended. (Speaking of 10' out, what do you expect? It took a while to get used to the collector, but once you get the hang of it, it's smooth sailing. My favorite way to cup a ball is to place the cup over it and then rotate it over to cup it. It is a bit heavy as well, but I expect it to last a long time as long as it is I would buy again if given the opportunity. Yes, you're right.
There should be 15 feet of reach with this retriever. I have tried a few times to extend sections, but I can only extend the first one anymore. Money is out of my hands. Based on what I can see, this thing is clearly made of cheap materials and isn't worth the price. In the end, I finally got it unstuck after playing around for half an hour with it. The review has been updated to 3 stars from 1 Even though it appears to be working at the moment, I still believe it is poorly constructed.
I love it so much. I have bought it several times as gifts for Make sure you take it with you when you go golfing. This keeps balls out of the water and keeps you from potential snake hazards and ant hazards as well as jumping In fact, since I bought this gadget, I have not had to purchase golf balls unless I simply wanted to. Actually, I keep enough balls to supply my friends with free balls every now and then. The fact that I can 'fish' for balls is relaxing to me. Don't be afraid to use it!.
This is a very sturdy extension which can reach 18 feet. In addition, it works every time, even when attempting to retrieve golf balls from the smallest of puddles. It's as simple as placing the inverted cup on top of the ball. I couldn't have asked for a simpler solution.
It wasn't until it arrived that I realized how large it was. accidentally left my old one in a cart on vacation, so I was hoping a replacement would be available. This retriever fits 50% longer into my apparel pocket than the previous one, which fitted unobtrusively into a pocket. By hiding it among my irons, I am able to store it safely. In addition to adding more balls into the game, the added length makes it more fun for everyone. The solution has almost paid for itself after a few weeks, even if many of the balls are used for range practice. As a bonus, helping your friends get theirs back is nice as well.
You will hit your ball into places that you can't reach eventually if you play golf. Having said that, I do it more often than I want to. In order to assist in these situations, I became interested in this ball retriever. It was my first time using it after I put it in my bag that I got to take it with me. I expected that it would work exactly like that. Without having to dig another ball out of the bag, I was able to retrieve the ball and continue my game. Balls were easily retrieved with this ball retriever as the cup bent very easily and obtained the ball with very little effort. I found the ball quickly and retrieved it before playing further. The product I bought is exactly what I wanted.
A similar model that was previously available has been replaced. Obviously, I choose the longer model, but the shorter one probably has a smaller diameter base than I thought, which would work better for packing into a carrying case. When you play golf, you don't have to worry about that if you use a large cart bag or ride whenever possible. The design is simple and works well. There are some fancier spring activated retrievers, but they are too inconsistent to make any sense. Keeping it simple is the way to go. There is no question that it's very sturdy, much more so than what I replaced. It's a very good value for the money.
