In the six weeks since I purchased this retriever, I have only taken my retriever twice to golf, and only once have I used it. Accordingly, this is what my review will be based upon. The telescope extends quite easily to its maximum length when fully extended. Although the method of picking up the ball seems a bit weird to me, it was apparently designed that way. I may not know how to use it properly, or I may just have not figured it out yet.
