Questions & Answers

How long do these medium-sized grips last? 11"?

Midsize grips are the same length as standard grips, but they are 1/16" wider (diameter) than standard grips.

What's the difference between a standard grip, a midsize grip, and a large grip?

Grip size is usually determined by hand size, but better players tend to have a better feel and control by using one size larger. Midsize grips are 1/16" larger in diameter than standard, and oversized grips are 1/8" larger in diameter than standard. Grip size is usually determined by hand size, but better players tend to have a better feel and control by using one size larger. Basically, I'd replace one grip to see how it works before replacing the entire set. Many people use different sizes for their driver/woods and irons, but I stick to the same size for consistency's sake.

Is it true that these Winn grips are authentic?

They are branded with Winn's name. Grips are excellent.

What exactly does the term "avs" mean? On the winn website, you won't find avs style/part?

All Vee Shrew says it has to do with a single vertical seam. Helically wound grips are also available from Winn. I've been using these AVS grips for a few years and they're fantastic for large hands in any weather.

The softness is appealing to me
5/5

These grips have been in my possession for quite some time. I live in Southern California, and I try to play three times per week all year. In a typical year, I probably play around 125 rounds of golf. These grips retain their soft feel even after over a year of use. I usually get 14 to 16 months out of a set before having to replace it. They're still soft, but they're starting to wear out and become a little too slick. br>br>I really enjoy how soft it is. I'm 68 years old and have a handicap of 10 on the golf course. I usually shoot in the high 70s and low 80s. In my hands, I have some arthritis. The midsize grip and soft cushion feel make a huge difference in the hands, virtually eliminating any discomfort. I can still feel the club and use my wrists thanks to the midsize. I've tried a few of the jumbo grips, but they take away the feel of the club and reduce the use of my wrists in the swing.

I'm a big fan of DRITAC grips
5/5

I used to have a sand wedge that I broke the shaft of about three years ago. It was given a DRITAC grip by the club repairman. It was fantastic. So, when it came time to replace all of them recently, I went with DRITACs. Because the grip is a little sticky, I don't feel the need to grip it as tightly, and the club swings more freely when I let go. The photos look better, and I'm more confident in my ability to create them. My scores are unlikely to improve this spring, as I'll most likely use my newfound confidence to swing harder and hit the ball further into the woods or water than I ever have before. Oh well, that's golf.

These grips were installed on my clubs in January of 2020, and they were removed and replaced after only 8 months because they wore right through to the cloth underneath
3/5

The grips I replaced had been on my clubs for more than three years and were still not nearly as bad after eight months as these grips were. I only play golf twice a week and have a very soft grip on the club. These were of poor quality, and I would advise you to stop selling them. They were also the same grips I'd been using for a long time. Sorry for not photographing them; I should have done so.

I'm a big fan of these grips
5/5

These grips have taken the place of my old golf pride grips. These grips have a fantastic feel to them. I still wear a glove because it's what I'm used to, but it's not necessary. Others have complained about wet performance, but I don't think they feel any different wet or dry. They were simple to put together with the help of an Amazon kit.

These grips are fantastic
5/5

I've been using dri-fi for a while now. For several years, I've been using tac grips. They are clearly favorites of mine. I replace them myself, and they're simple to put together. What I like best about them is that they're soft, so you can feel the club. The only drawback is that, due to their softness, they wear out quickly.

w. w. w. w. w w w w w One flaw. The grips have a fantastic feel to them. There's a ton of grip on this thing. br>The problem I'm having with them is that the seam is very visible - It's almost as if there was a manufacturing error. On a few of the clubs, it's so distracting that it's distracting during the swing.

The grips are the best
5/5

This is the second time I've used these grips on my clubs, and I've never had a more comfortable grip. I put on a pair of large golf gloves and chose the mid-range option. I'd recommend getting fitted to see if mid-size clubs are a good fit for you. You like the size. The only disadvantage is that they are not as long lasting. Depending on how much you play, there could be two or three seasons. I adore them, however.

Win DriTac grips are one of my favorites! These handcuffs are incredible! These days, they're my go-to grip
5/5

Work well and remain pliable in all temperatures. Some people complain about how quickly they wear out. They could easily last two seasons in my opinion. a fantastic deal.
