The Bat Caddy X4R is no exception. As such, it does not have a braking system. Essentially, they have a stop button that disables power to the motor and brakes only the resistance of the motor and drive train to slow them down. When on a hill, turning the cart in a neutral position can make a world of difference If one knows the slope direction, one can be sure the cart will not run off down hill.

I only managed to use it for one round of 18 holes

I had a Sun Mountain e-cage and found it to be very durable, well built, and well worth the price. It has been eight years since I used the cart. Placing $100 in my pocket annually for a new battery and it just wore out did not appeal to me. As long as I keep the Bat Caddy close to me whenever I play, there should be no accidents with it. During the first four rounds, I have stayed within 20 yards of the target so that I didn't hit anything. To play, all I have to do is press the buttons on the remote and walk over I like this much better than pushing a bag or pushing a cart. Playing every day until we are finished with the Wisconsin season due to snow. It is my wish that I will enjoy golfing with my new caddy for many years to come. Putting the unit together was not difficult for me. I have roughly 6 hours to complete 18 holes before I need to recharge my battery. This product will give you many hours of fun while playing golf.
My first impression after eight rounds is A very well built product, and I love that it folds up into such a small package and fits into its own pouch. Considering how light it is, it is hard to believe how strong it is. As far as I am concerned, this is an A+!.

AREN'T VERY GOOD AT CLIMBING HILLS. CHADY FALLS BACK SOMETIMES WHEN THE GUIDE WHEEL IN BACK DOES NOT WORK. A COURSE HERE ON UNEVEN GROUND ALSO DOES NOT HOLD. It also tips over on its side when the ground is uneven. I fell over and I broke my scorecard holder and my umbrella holder.
