It is only for non-US citizens Golfers with a bad attitude. In addition, It worked very well. There may be difficulty to trick anyone on the Tee, as people tend to look for markings that can be used to distinguish between balls. So as not to pick each other's balls by mistake, we write the names on the balls with a red marker so that we don't pick each other's balls by accident. So I wrote my friend's name on one and placed it where he normally places his ball. He did not realize that it was there until he grabbed it to take a drop. To avoid suspicion, it is very important to act as if there was just one. Another one that I got with the same trick (I got hold of the stickers that usually mark his balls) from my third golf partner who kept saying, "nice try!" Each time they found a fake ball, they returned it to the player, because the fake one did not have the stickers on it as they put them on their balls each time. They returned the ball when the "dust" disappeared upon What kind of material they use I do not know.
The ball will work for your buddy if you set it up for him. You shouldn't allow him to touch them as they look and feel fake. In a rough round, my buddy shank his drive off the 8th tee so I came to the aid of him and said 'here, take one more, I'll set up the tee for you. ' It appeared to be a no-brainer for him and he performed like a pro. It would have been nice to have video of it, but it was a good time for all of us.

They came in a package half of which had been broken open. Before they were packaged and shipped, they were clearly damaged. In addition to the 3, which weren't broken, they worked well as well. The explosions look very real and are surrounded by a cloud of dust. If you need more, that means I'll purchase more but I'll have to return in.
This was just a small item and we did not want to play around with a return. It was hard to surprise the kids when they didn't have a notice on them. They did explode and were funny, but it was hard to pull off a surprise. If they came with the advertised print and were intact in the box they would have been a five star.
