Although I like the club very much, I'm giving you one star since the pictures specifically state that the oversized grip is a super stroke, and I got mine today, which I ordered with an oversized grip, and it is an Odyssey grip, The experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I will probably return the club.
With this Odyssey and the thicker handle I bet I'm much better at putting now than I was with my two ball Odyssey. As a result, I have better feel for the distance and far greater.
It's damn nice to have that In terms of feel, this putter is one of the best I have ever used, as well as a few Camerons. My initial impression of the quality is very good, so I feel more confident about the higher price tag than previous Odyssey products. Regardless of the added firmness, the update does not feel overdone. It feels just a little firmer than both the White Hot and O Works inserts. In the other inserts, there seems to be a little more feedback than what is in this one. In terms of the new technology, it isn't very noticeable in the stroke (which is good). As an additional benefit, it can be used as a countermeasure Putter that is well-balanced and does not feel too I have gained better distance control from using it so far, based only on my small sample size. In the questions section, I noticed a bit of confusion about the oversize grips prior to ordering. Odyssey's oversized grip is not the superstroke grip shown in the image -- it is the stock oversized grip. If you need further clarification, please refer to Odyssey's website. A bonus is that the counterweight is permanently glued to the shaft, which makes swapping out the grip no problem.
I ordered a "S" shaft and received a regular shaft, but I really liked the putter. was torn and looked as if it might have been a defect in manufacturing. I will return it and hope to get exactly what I ordered and paid for with no defects or issues. I will upgrade my rating once I receive the A new update! A new putter was received. The first putter I received was defective, so I returned it and requested a putter with an "S" shaft and large grip. I received the same type as before, except that it was in good condition. This will remain in my possession. Then again, who knows.
According to your preference and the way you swing, you can pick the head style to suit your needs. Using oversized grips was the best option for me. I was very disappointed that it came with Odyssey grips instead of the super strokes, but I understand that it isn't uncommon for this model to come with Odyssey grips. I find the putter to be extremely forgiving and performs well. After I upgraded to this set, my swing became very consistent and I was able to eliminate strokes from my short game. Using the thick white markings on the Marxman head for lining up your shot is a great idea. This putter is top of the line. The cover is really nice. For the grips, I am subtracting a star!.
My only complaint is the grip, which was sort of oversized, but came with the regular Odyssey. Having tested it on the practice green, I really like the way it feels.
Because the Asner 5 putter did not have enough weight in it, and therefore I would always miss putts, I switched to the stroke lab double wide putter. As a result I now need to swing much firmer && harder. I'm still having difficulty judging distance and aiming. It took me some time to become accustomed to this putter, but I am now putting better than I was before. The head weight makes it feel great, and I am taking strokes off my game. I love it, it's fabulous.
I played the putter very smoothly today and did not make a three-putt today. I have a putter that scratches super easily, I always use it with the head cover and ever store it with the cover off and still the head scratches. Obviously it needs to be a thin coating.
