Smoke can be dangerous.
I have the hazrd smoke shaft, which is fantastic! If it helps, I'm swinging at 105 mph.

It's sexy as hell, but it's also very intimidating. br>So, why not? - I reasoned. I hit it off the mat in the store, and it was very forgiving and easy to hit high. So I placed an order for one. It's been about a month since I got it. While I must admit that it is not for the faint of heart, it is far less difficult to play than it appears. My swing speed is around 105 and I'm a scratch player. I have the ability to hit it high, low, and in-between. between. Hit it from the tee as well as from tight fairway positions. It's a great place to hang out. I've even had some friends try it out, and they've been blown away by how good it feels and how simple it is to hit. br>I got it in the Black Hazardous Smoke shaft, which is also one of my favorites.
Well, I was enjoying it until the head flew off on a straight fairway rip. With it, I only hit 150 balls and took great care of it. It is two months old. There was very little glue on the shaft or in the head after inspection. I'll update my rating once I've confirmed that taylormade has rectified the situation with me. Update. br>br> Taylormade sent some complimentary gloves and suggested that the issue be resolved at a local shop. I just re-read what you wrote. I have attached myself. I don't believe the factory sanded down tip is adequate. This occurs more frequently in graphite than in steel. I reglued it for $5 (plus the cost of the epoxy from Amazon) and it's been fine for a year. I like the club, but I think TM could do a better job with the quality control.
It's not a steel shaft, despite what the picture implies. Shaft made of graphite with an even flow.
Put away the hybrid, my new favorite club. Off the tee, it travels 240 yards straight and has less spin than a hybrid.
The shaft had been broken in half, and the club had been purchased as "new," but it had clearly been used. The seller offered to replace the club or refund my money without hesitation.
The product is excellent, exactly as I had hoped. This club was purchased with the intention of playing shots against the wind, and it performs admirably. Don't expect to hit this club for a long time because you won't.
It's excellent for finding more fairways in windy conditions. This UDI has made my life so much easier! Taylormade knows what they're doing when it comes to irons.
