The ladies' shaft is a little shorter than the men's. My 9 wood had been replaced by a men's 10. It was hard to tell the difference between them. If you want it shortened, you can always bring it in.

I am disappointed

I received my much anticipated Mavrik Max 3 Wood, which was ordered from Amazon, in addition to the rest of my Mavrik Max golf clubs. A different club's head cover is shown here. I am really disappointed as I really invested heavily in a quality set of clubs. I hope Callaway will do better than that. Like the gentleman who posted before me (he also did not receive a head cover afterwards), comes on Callaway,.

Considering that I am a lefty, this club really appeals to me. Since it is my first time playing 3 wood, I can't compare it to anything else. It is difficult for me to make good contact with the distance, however.

I am in love with I've never used a fairway wood, so don't expect me to be a whiz when it comes to it

The way this works for me is that I can hit the ball 200 yards farther and shorten my par 5s. For my two courses where I have used it, this has been a valuable tool. With the design of the face, it really gets the ball under the ball well.
