Callaway Golf 2020 Mavrik Fairway Wood

Ping drivers have been a staple in my bag for years and I have never hit one I liked from Callaway, mostly due to All of the Anser, G30, and G400s are supremely satisfying to play (and I loved them), especially when you hit them right in the middle of the face, which is both A good thing because you get plenty of feedback and can instantly tell if you flush one, but a bad thing because you lose speed when you miss one The center of the screen In contrast, the Mavrik is more muted in sound and feel. I would describe it more as a thud than a concise "whack. " As a result, you do not receive as much feedback, but having hit all these clubs on the simulator, there is a definite difference in performance performance. In my swing, I tend to swing at a pace of around 98 mph, resulting in a ball speed of 140 mph. With my Pings, my ball speed drops into the low 120s when I miss the middle of the face. I'm not losing much distance with the Mavrik, as it stays around 140, so I may hit the ball a little higher or lower, but I don't lose much. The Mavrik is longer and straighter, so it means it has more length. As I have hit it MANY times now, I'm starting to see a difference between hitting it center and hitting it off-center I no longer need to wonder if I will hit the center of the wicket to get that satisfying "whack" from my Pings. This club is so awesome that I got my wife a new Mavrik Max driver, four wood and four hybrid to replace all the Ping woods and hybrids in my bag, and we are loving them all. Turns out loyalty to a brand.

I like the feel of the ball when I strike it. This club goes a bit further and straighter off the tee than my old one, as well as going about 10 yards further off the fairway.

My game turned around with the help of this club. As a result, I'm usually in the center of the fairway or close to it for most holes. Easy to use and makes golf more enjoyable. Since I am giving myself so many more chances to make a scoring play, I feel much more confident. As well as being straighter than anything I have ever hit before, it is about 15 inches in diameter I had a Taylormade Burner that was at least 20 yards longer.

My friends were right the club is indeed as good as they said. It was just what I needed to complete those pesky par 5 holes In the past, I have lost distance on my drives but this can get me on the green in two and looks nice, feels nice, and hits the ball far.
