I would say that the buckle is still likely to set off the metal detector, as it feels like it could be made of metal, not plastic.

Is the end of the belt smooth or is it rough?

A rugged textured fabric is used on the belt's end (also like a seat belt in the sense that it feels like one).

The only reference to EDC I see is in one of the references. There is no reference to a concealed carry situation in any of the reviews or marketing. What are the chances of this belt working with a holster on the iwb?

I use it for concealed carry, it locks up very well. One caveat is that if (any) belt has a one-pull, quick release buckle, it's possible the buckle could be released, especially in a scuffle.

The self-adjusting belts I have tried have never stayed in place. The belt ratchets down tight and stays in place. In addition to its great looks, it is very comfortable and easy to use. the black and khaki belts, and they have become de facto favorites in my closet. My order for additional colors will be placed shortly. This is a highly recommended product.

The first few days have been good

Wearing one of the two pieces that came together for a couple of days so far. This seems to be a high-quality product. There is a lot of material in the belt, so it seems like it would survive being cut easily. I'm still in. have about 8 inches left on my 38 to 48 inch mirror. It will be an ideal belt size after a few inches have been cut off.

The company's nbsp My new belts are really great. I absolutely love them and they look really nice on me. I would love for him to have additional colors of these nylons, which are heavy duty and durable. It would be easier to release the trigger if it was easy to press. In a very nicely designed box, they came ready to be given as gifts. It is unclear why these belts are called golf belts, but they are beautiful when worn with shorts and khakis.

It turned out that I was not disappointed once I discovered the belts click into place. like the functionality of this site. They are easy to use and look great. Be sure to read and follow the instructions so you trim the end that fixes to the buckle, NOT the end that is adjustable (that fits You can extend the belt for years, and you won't have to fret about the exposed end fraying. By the way, if you're unwilling to take a chance with these, the buckle on one of the belts was broken in the first set I got. As soon as I reported it to Amazon, they immediately shipped me a replacement and provided me with a return label. Dropping it off at the UPS store was all I had to do. These belts are pleasing to the eye, and I am glad I tried them out. They have been very helpful to me.

My past experiences with nylon web belts have not been flattering, but these are in a class of their own. There is much more nylon in the nylon and much more strength in the buckle mechanism. Only looking at the quality, the belt gets a 5 out of To put it another way, the people who designed this belt had to be As a whole, the buckle sticks out from the belt by a good 3/4" and has a variety of sharp edges and points on it. As a consequence, if you have a belly of any kind, the buckle pokes you with those sharp edges mercilessly every time you sit There was really no need to round things off a bit and the comfort would have increased dramatically. I am unsure whether to send them back or add a file to the buckle, since they are too uncomfortable to wear as they are.

There's one caveat, though often, the belt will slip a notch or two, which is especially true those who sit or push out with their stomachs. It is also important to note that since the belt is so solid to operate the ratcheting latch, it is hard to roll up at the end of each day for storage due to its solid construction. It is easy for me to accomplish this. To lock the end of the belt when you roll it up, use the elastic loop on the belt You can slide the loop toward the end of the belt and then tuck the end into the loop once the belt has been rolled. By doing this, you will keep the roll rolled up, without it undoing.

Since they are advertised as golf belts, whatever that means, I was skeptical, but have been using them now for a few days and I am extremely happy with them! In fact, I have another pair, in a completely different color, in my cart that awaits my check-out. Thick and flexible, these belts are a good compromise between durability and flexibility. The kind of thick you like. The thickness is of a quality. Not only is the quick release buckle convenient, but it also looks great! I found the packaging to be appealing, as well. It wasn't extravagant, but it was neat and well-made. This is a good purchase.
