My daughter usually wears a 5/6 or just a six, and I mistakenly assumed that the 6/6x would fit her, but it does not

I'd say this is on the large side, but they appear to be well-made and made of a dry wicking fabric that is easy to clean. The elastic with buttons on the inside of the waistband allows you to adjust the waistline to your child's size. I cinched it as tight as I could, but it was still a huge baggie. I'm sure she'll grow into these, but they're too small for her at the moment. They're very basic, and they'll eventually become a wardrobe must-have.

Ideal for girls who are active

For a size 10 girl, these are too big around the waist, but she is tall and narrow, so a length of 10 would be better. I said "fit as expected" because a 10 waist is usually too big for her, but the length is perfect. It's difficult to tell whether L means L or L means M because sizing varies so much between brands. In this case, I'd say it's between 12 and 12. br>br>The fabric has a nice stretchy feel to it. It's only slightly stretchy, but it's pulling at an angle. I'm sorry, but it's better for activity than for sedentary comfort; I don't know how else to put it.

They don't need to be ironed and are light enough to wear in the summer. Because my child is short, they look more like floods than capris on her, but that isn't the fault of the pants; these are pants that my mostly-invisible child wears. dress- Daughter still feels at ease while wearing it. She doesn't like a lot of the pants we get her after a couple of wears (especially the heavier, stiffer fabrics), but she doesn't mind these.

For school uniforms, this is a fantastic option

Although these are marketed as "golf club" pants for girls, they are ideal for many school's uniform requirements. At a reasonable price, you get a lot of flexibility and durability.
