Questions & Answers

Can you tell me the dimensions of the outside? Is it required that it be 80 inches or less for Allegiant airlines?

Mine was shipped 3 days in advance from my local FedEx store, and it only cost There is a charge for checked baggage at Allegiant, I think it's $45 I think.

According to the description, it has a lifetime warranty plus an insurance policy of $1500. How likely is it that the company will support this project?

As for the $1500 club coverage, I haven't tested it yet. There is no need as my clubs have never been damaged the entire time they were in an SKB case. Although I did have the case itself get damaged, I didn't think that it would be real serious. One of the wheels was somehow damaged by UPS. After calling SKB, they sent me a pair of new wheels at no charge. I was surprised that even though my wheels were riveted on and not intended to be replaced, the kit allowed me to drill out the rivets and replace them. This shows just how much they care about their customers that they did not charge any fees for the service to replace broken parts. In fact, today, I will be ordering another case from them.

What's the deal with the locks that already come on the bag? Do the keys come with the locks?

That's a given! ***By the way, the locks are TSA locks, so you can lock the case and let the TSA agent know you're dropping it off for scanning while it is locked. They have their own keys, so they can get in if necessary.

This is the last case I will take on
5/5

Since the start of the year, I have purchased/deleted 3 soft cases. There are a variety of bags, ranging from the big Samsonite (which never stands upright despite the pictures!) to the cheap ones that have a soft bottom but a hard top. I have only found one bag that has held up so far. Although I have flown to three different countries, as well as dozens of flights within the country, you would think my airline is My clubs fit okay in this case, but with the new Sun Mountain bags, the neck is too long or wide to fit in this case so I have to turn the bag upside down to store my clubs. I believe it is unlikely to be an issue, but it is something to consider as the latest trend for walking bags has a taller opening that cannot be accommodated by Furthermore, TSA checks every single time this thing goes through. Since I fly several times a week, I rarely have my clothing checked, but this item is a TSA magnet, so make an extra copy of your key and don't put anything loose in it. If they lose it for you, it will cost you a lot.

The bag is well made and good quality, but it is too small to fit into In order to provide a golf bag shipping service, the carrier must be large enough to fit the golf bag
3/5

There are 14 inches in front to back on my new Titleist golf bag, which means that the parts are totally sturdy and stable. Their rigidity prevents them from bending. an alternative bag from the same manufacturer and it was similar to the one in my review Due to the interior being 14 inches in diameter, I returned the other one and ordered this one since it stated that the interior was two sided and too small. That's true, but it's at the bottom of the list. I was able to fit my bag and clubs in the compartment, but they fitted upside down, so shipping clubs heads down is not a good option. In addition to returning this carrier, I will also send the receipt back. A local golf store stocked a bag boy cart called a Bag Boy T 10 wheeled travel cover, which I found at that store. The carrier is soft sided, and I would have preferred a hard-sided one like the SKB's, but it is wide at the top, and it is hard-sided where it is necessary to protect the clubheads. Listed here are images of the SKB cases, which were made beautifully. I found them strong and sturdy, they had excellent locks, and I believe they would have been ideal fortresses against damage. If I had used my Bag Boy inside it, the image can be seen at Due to its size and length, it is also longer than the SKB, which means that the clubs sit lower and into the wider part of the hard side. I hope this has helped you in the.

I broke the wheel the first time I traveled. See the photos for an illustration of how it was bent. There is no contact seller option anywhere after 30 minutes after I tried to contact the seller. There are many ways to search. It seems that the only avenue to go through the seller is through him. It is included in this case with the SKB Million Mile Guarantee as well as SKB's lifetime warranty. I wish you the best of luck in getting in touch.

My driver broke at the head when I was traveling from California to Arizona with a soft cover case
4/5

I therefore purchased this case as a protective measure. I didn't use it very much (slice! ), so I should have known better because baggage handlers probably hate these bags, but it's no surprise that they don't treat all bags I was therefore looking for something sturdy as I was taking another golf trip with my friends. I was pleased with how things turned out. Thanks a lot). With the bag, it looks like it fits snugly, but I was able to also fit a couple dozen balls, my towel, all the tools I have in my bag, and some other things as well. In order to provide extra protection to the clubs, there is thick padding at the top. This purse has three claps that snap shut tight, and two handles, one at the top and one in the middle, that make it easy to carry. It is very useful to have the wheels. Although it is pricier than soft covers, the protection it offers is worth it.

I like this Golf Travel Case a lot
5/5

A soft case had worn out so I bought this to replace it There was only one trip to the hospital. It has been very useful for two trips now, and I am enthusiastic about Although it is heavier than the soft case was, with a full set of 12 clubs, an umbrella, a stand bag, 50 golf balls, cooling towels, and a pair of shoes, the combination weighed in at 43 lbs, which was well under the 50 lb limit. Despite its small size, this case easily accommodated my golf gear for a week of golf, so there was no need to stuff it. Moreover, the hinge itself is very well constructed and strong, and the 'buckles' are also well constructed and latch very well. Upon checking it out after my trip, I see no dents or huge scratches, nothing broken, and the handles are intact. I think this performed much better than other hard and soft cases I've seen, and I would In addition, I like the TSA lock on the middle buckle of the bag.

Ideal for transporting cameras and video equipment! My hard case is made to transport all my camera tripods, monopods, Glidecams, light stands, and other accessories that don't lend themselves to going in a carry-on The bag has been tagged
5/5

It should be no problem at all for me to check it on an airline since they know how to handle golf bags.

Has a heavy, but solid, upright roll and is not easy to roll
4/5

I have taken a soft case with me both on airplanes and in my pick up truck but, when it rained last time, the bag got wet (even though the soft bag was waterproof) and began to grow mold as it was stored Thus, I decided that it is necessary to have a hard case to protect the clubs and make them We have already tested the SKB in a storm and it is waterproof. Despite these disappointments, I had three good experiences. There is no way to roll the case in an upright position if the latch is not perfectly closed or if there is pressure from the inside (e. g. when golf bag is bulky with stuff). The weight of the book requires you to lean it over. The case is nice and solid, but it also means that it is quite On the specs, make sure the weight is correct. Because I always travel with a carry-on bag, the weight is not an issue. Compared to a cart bag, it's much lighter than it would be. If you are traveling, airlines may be picky about the overall weight of your luggage, so a lightweight case would be preferable. There is no way for me to tell if you traveled with a fully loaded cart bag in this case, but you would exceed the weight allowed It is recommended that you check your golf bag weight before checking in this case. This will determine if your weight is under the check-in limit.

It's great to have a golf bag like this! Using this hard case, our is kept safe and secure
5/5

It's great to have a golf bag like this! As a result, this hard case provides the maximum protection for our golf clubs as we travel, and it fits the new longer drivers and irons. A wood with ample space between each club so that it is not bent or broken during In the "club heads" area is extra padding, and there is more space for shoes and other belongings as well. There are other golf supplies as well. Investing in golf clubs & amenities is a huge part of our clubhouse investment plan Having confidence in the condition of our clubs will allow you to travel without worries. A solid lock is on each of the 3 locks on the case Ensure your security.
