Before I switched to this backpack, I had the Chrome Barage one, and it was too heavy for my damaged Alternatively, I was hoping to find a water bottle holder similar to this one. A compartment for my lunch was also an important feature since I commute or ride my bike to and from did not want to carry a separate bag for it, and I did not want my food to spill if there were no compartments for it to go in. discovered a bag recently that had a shoe compartment (I didn't know existed), but it did not have a pocket for a water bottle. This gem of a find was finally found when I kept looking! The Chrome bag I bought for $180 would have been much better if I found this. I'm so glad I found this! It's so cheap and so awesome! The waterproof feature on the Chrome is great, but I can attain the same effect with this by spraying it with water after spraying it with a water-based solution Prolong the life of fabrics with proofing As a shared space with the main compartment, the shoe compartment is one of its huge advantages. In other words, if you put something on the shoe compartment, you will have to lift up the top portion of the compartment in order to put something in it. My only wish is that the shoe compartment and the main compartment were separated by a hard padding. However, I will most likely do it myself in the future.

The shoe area is separated from the rest of the room

I got it for my son as a gift for him to use on the plane as a carry-on. I especially like the fact that there is a separate shoe storage area for him. He says it has enough room to carry changes of clothes, toiletries, and even his computer. I thought it looked a little large for a backpack, but it's the perfect size for him.
