These baton tips were purchased to replace the ones on my daughter's Star Line batons. The metal began to protrude from one of the tips, and was close to protruding from the other three, after the batons we had lasted one season. Her batons are the (Fluted Super Star 3/8in), and these tips were identical to the ones we removed, so there were no compatibility issues. This was much less expensive than buying a new baton. Getting them on wasn't difficult; they were snug, so take your time and push the baton in a little at a time, keeping it straight. The most difficult part for me was removing the tips and replacing them. This isn't a complaint, though, because it means they were having a good time. I'm surprised they got to the point where the baton protruded from the end of the baton. br>br>I'll update this post if we discover that these don't last at least one twirling season, though I don't expect this to be the case.
The tip in the shape of a star is fantastic! The baton will not roll away if it is dropped. Much less expensive than buying a new baton:.
My daughter, who uses the star tips, adores them. It gives a new lease on life to an old baton (mine), and it's ideal for changing out caps during performances.
Drops stay close together thanks to the star design. All batons are compatible.
They are well-made and fit nicely.
These balls and ends are great because the baton stays put and doesn't roll around when dropped. Beginners and intermediates alike will enjoy it.
It was exactly what I expected.
