My overall satisfaction with this product has led to my ordering another. This is a game meant for younger soccer players, so I would be wary of allowing it. If you really want to test it out, let it rip a few goals since I expect it wouldn't last. Despite the thinness of the rope, it has held up to my 7 year old child who is still learning how The anchor stays in the ground quite well for the most part (on occasion a strong wind pulled an end up).
