The shorts I bought were leggings, not shorts!
A medium guess is what I would guess. In the large, the medium fits well, but I weigh 152 pounds and the large is a bit snug. In my opinion, the large would still fit me if I are to lose 10 pounds. I would guess that for someone with a body mass index less than 140, a medium is a good choice.
A silky black would be better. There is a greater butteriness to the camo and colors.
Buttery soft, the fabric certainly is. The one I have is my favorite.

This material is a little shiny, but there is no see-through in my opinion. It is a medium for me, since I am 5' 9" and 170 lbs. As you can see, I wore bright colored underwear and there is no way to see through the shorts. However, you can see the underwear lines, so if it's important to you that you don't see the underwear lines, maybe you ought to choose another product. In spite of the fact that I did not work out while wearing them, I wore them all day on the weekend. I can tell that, on the other hand, I would go for a run in these, or lift weights and do squats in them. Having those shorts on when working out makes my thighs feel better, and they also give me a high waisted feel. I can fit my iPhone 11 in the side pocket, and there is a discreet pocket on the waistband for keys or cards I can store my car and house keys comfortably in the pocket. As you can see from the second photo of my back, the "fety" logo is reflective on the back waistband, and that was something I didn't expect to see. Therefore, if you're looking for comfy biker/Bermuda shorts that won't break the bank and if you're looking for active material, these are definitely worth a look. Ultimately, these shorts are not intended for those who want compression shorts that hold everything in. I do not find that they flatten my tummy at all, which is fine with me because that is not what I was hoping for anyway.
It is not uncommon for me to have big thighs and a booty, but I have a relatively narrow waist (I always have a gap at the back of Shorts are great! The size chart showed that I was the measurement of the small and it was too small for me. thin band at the very top was especially tight. The waist part of the waistband was tight as well. This week's update After trying on the medium for a few minutes, it seems to fit a bit better, but it is not completely accurate. I don't like the way there is a seam by the crotch area, so the material bunches up a little. The same with sizes small and medium. My usual outfits consist of long sleeves and leggings, so this should not be too much of an issue, but it is something that the creators should fix.
My favorite FETY legging is the flappy one. There are like four pairs of my hiking shoes that I own. As I love to hike in the FETY leggings, it occurred to me that I may not want to wear leggings during the summer especially when working out and/or going hiking. In addition to the biker shorts, they also had a couple of pairs of them. The leggings also fit the same as the ones I ordered. concerned about the bottom of the biker shirt indentating into my leg a little bit right at the knee but it's not that bad and it's really just something I noticed myself since it's not something I wear every day. am in love with this brand and I intend to get as many versions as I possibly.
The workout shorts I bought were good and inexpensive (I paid $13). What more could you want in a dress? Smooth, comfortable, slightly below the naval, with 5" waist band for tummy control. This men's pants features a patch pocket on the right that fits an iPhone plus nicely, and a hidden pocket along the left side of the waist band seam to hold a drivers license / credit card / small wallet, but not deep enough to hold an iPhone The elastic waistband has a very small amount of stitching that has come out after several washes, but it is not too noticeable. There is a thin fabric, but it does not show through, that's my only complaint. Overall, I like them and wear them daily. There is a lot to say. This price is too good to be true. Besides being cute and comfortable, these shorts are NOT at all sheer in the terry cloth part of the garment. It always surprises my husband to see how good the coverage is because I always ask him to do the "is it see through" test. It's true that this test is his favorite because it requires me to evaluate my bum, but I'm even more relieved knowing that he won't be seeing London, France, or anywhere else *TL *Br In these you will not be able to see your "whatnot" until you remove them.

They are soft, still holding up beautifully, and do not creep up my thighs after working out every day. that we have the full leggings, we can try them out. My expectation was that these would not ride up my thighs, so I bought them hoping they would not do that. They are perfect no riding up, I found them to be close to my size.
