These tops have a great look and feel to them, but they must be hand washed. I knew that wasn't going to happen, so I washed them on delicate and hung them to dry, but they were all wrinkled. I have to iron my clothes before I can wear them.
I went up a size because I don't like tight-fitting shirts when I'm working out. br>I usually wear a large in workout shirts, so I went with an XL because I knew I'd want to tie the back. This is my new favorite gym shirt, it's cute and functional. I knotted it up in the back to make it a little more form fitting, but it's not too tight.
Despite my reservations about the lack of photos in the reviews, I purchased this shirt in multiple colors. It's a lot nicer than I thought it would be. The solid-color fabric is soft and cool to the touch, and it has plenty of stretch. The heathered colors make the fabric appear to be a different one. It's a little thicker and less soft than the previous version. I usually wear a size 14 and have a 38B bust, so the xl is a good fit for me. I'd probably go up a size if I wanted to tie the back because I have a large waist, but that would make the bust area baggy, which isn't the look I'm going for. The only problem is that one of the tops had a small hole near the armpit when it arrived. When sellers attach stiff tags to soft garments, I find that this is a common problem. I really hope they don't do that anymore. Having said that, I do think this is a worthwhile purchase. The fit is flattering, and the fabric is soft, but before you remove the tags, make sure you inspect every inch for flaws. The black, dark purple (which is more of a burgundy), and one of the dark grey (which is more of a greyish dark blue) were the colors I kept.
In workout clothes, I'm an M across the board. However, I found it to be on the small side. I kept it, but if I had to order another, I'd choose a L. For the sake of comparison, 34D, 155 pounds of muscle, small waist, wide shoulders/hips The color gray blue is very attractive.
I'm 5'3" tall, 140 pounds, and wear a bra size 34D, so the color and style of this shirt appeal to me. I ordered a large, and the chest is a little tight, but I'll keep the shirt because I'm hoping to lose weight and it will fit better!.
I am 5'6" and weigh 140 pounds (at my heaviest) and purchased a medium for yoga. It's just The Perfect Fit, where it's roomy while also being a perfect fit, as most of you will understand! You can tie it back like in the photo, or leave it hanging for a more casual look. It's a complete success! I will definitely purchase additional colors.
This small is a good fit. The back ends are tied, and there is just the right amount of looseness. ness for me, but snug below the waist where it's tied, so it doesn't sag when I'm doing the dreaded mountain climbers. This is the second one I've bought. I got the light grey, but it's a little dark for a light gray, in my opinion. It would be nice if there were a few more vibrant colors to choose from.
It's a nice top, with a nice medium weight and a nice fall to it. Unless you plan to hand wash it in cold water and lay it flat to dry, I don't think it will last long. Under normal machine washing conditions with other clothes that stretch and distort it in the rinse cycle, this type of fabric loses its body fairly quickly.
