I'm at a loss for words - It's thick enough to keep you warm but not so much that you can see through it.
I'm about the same size as you, and my hips are 39 and a half inches. I think a medium would be fine. I ordered a medium because I have the same waist. They are a perfect fit!

My tummy is large, and my hips are large. I ordered an xl size, and the first time I put them on, I didn't pull them up all the way, thinking to myself, "Wow, these are tight!" " I was apprehensive about giving them another shot. I realized I should have gone up a size. But when I fully zipped them up, I was pleasantly surprised by how flattering they looked and how loose and comfortable they felt; the pockets are lower than standard pockets, but I believe that this is an advantage. These pants are well worth the 5 star review, especially for the price, as I am able to keep my wallet, key ring, and iPhone 8 safely within them. I plan to purchase at least one more pair.
So far, everything has gone well. These yoga pants are extremely comfortable to wear and are well-fitting. I won't be wearing a camel toe. I like them and will see how well they hold up after a few washes. I weigh 115 pounds and stand 5'3" tall. Apart from the length, the small size fits everywhere. I rolled them up, which is something I do a lot of the time with my pants.
I was wary of any pants and scrolled and scrolled because I've never had much luck finding something that fits. I have a wide thigh and a thinner (but not that thin) waist, so any pants I buy slide down because I have to get something that fits my thighs well but ends up being too big around the waist; these pants, however, have an elastic waist, which I love. Yes, there is a pantyline visible, but name a pair of yoga pants that don't have one. We all know what kind of pantyhose they're wearing if there isn't one! 5 stars!.
These are perfect for you! I'm 5'3" and 138 pounds, for reference. I bought a medium because my waist is 28" and my hips are 40". These black leggings have just the right amount of compression to keep everything in place without being too tight. They're stretchy but not see-through, and they've got pockets! I mean, what more could you want? Oh, and they're incredibly soft and cozy.
Leggings are plentiful in my wardrobe. Some of them I refuse to throw away (even after years and a few holes) because they fit so well. One of them is this item. br>br>They're not too tight, have a lot of movement, and the material is one of my favorites. I don't like the shiny look of a lot of activewear and have had to return a lot of it because of it, but these are cottony. Leggings similar to LLR, but with a lot more spandex- stretch. br>br>I'm picky when it comes to yoga leggings and have previously only owned Under Armour's $60 pair, but these are a close second. Only time will tell how well the material holds up after being washed and worn, but I'll keep you updated if anything goes wrong.
I recommend ordering a size up from your normal size because they are tight around the waist and will make you look like a can of popped biscuits! They're also a tad warmer than the rest of my tights. A pocket on both legs large enough to hold a phone and a tiny pocket on the waist for a key or card are the only flaws.
UPDATE: I've purchased these a number of times and continue to adore them. br>br>I think I've found my new favorite pair of pants! They've already been worn twice. Because I'm only 5'5 and have a lot of muscle, I have a hard time finding pants that fit properly. They are either too high in the waist, have too much fabric in the legs, or are too short to fit over my thighs. I'll be ordering more of these pants because they fit perfectly. **Update: br>br> I got the black as well, and I think I'll be living in them for a while. Tell everyone you know about them!.
These pants are fantastic value for money; I love the pockets, and the fabric is extremely soft and stretchy! I went up two sizes based on other reviews, and they are very comfortable. ideal for lounging or running errands - There's no muffin top here, and there's no squeezing. I usually wear a size 8 shoe. 10 points for women's pants (30 points for men's pants) 31, with a curvy athletic build (Medium in regular brands, L or XL in budget brands). I bought these in XL, but they would have been better in L for a more secure fit. br>br>The top of the waistband has elastic, and I'd say they run small because the XL fits comfortably, just shy of muffin top. If I had planned on doing a lot of exercise, I would have gone up a size to a Large to avoid the pants slipping down. The XLs, on the other hand, are fantastic for casual comfort. I hope this information is useful.
