I am 5'2" and weigh 100 pounds, so I went with an XS because that's what I usually wear in leggings, and these fit perfectly. I think you should wear leggings that match your normal wardrobe. Besides being incredibly soft, these are made of a super stretchy material but they are not see-through like some leggings are!
When running, you can definitely keep your phone in the pocket because it is incredibly secure
It is very comfortable to wear these pants, and they stay in place well when I wash and dry them. Hand washing is recommended. Those leggings are amazing! I love them so much!

It's so cool to wear pants like these! The way I sweat generates a lot of heat for me, as I am an bk amputee. The pockets kept me dry and comfortable the whole day. I love these bad boys. A clip in the waistband can be worn by two people The side pockets are perfect size for my iphone and keys and can hold 3 cards. With the high waist, they hold everything in place snugly and they are very flattering. I normally wear 18/20 pants, and the xxl fits fine, a tad tight, but that's to be expected. I appreciate the softness and the fact that the fabric is not translucent at all. It is normal for me to have to roll or hem pant legs at my length, but these fit perfectly with just about an inch or two extra they scrunch up at the ankles a little, but this is neither bothersome nor unattractive. I purchased them along with Dragon Fit and Lingswallow and these are the ones I will keep. Their thickness makes them pass a squat test, and their softness is noticeable as well. These pants go all the way down to my ankles (I'm 5'8" tall) and the pockets are always nice, though I prefer them higher on the hips. There is a bit of fat at my hips which is accentuated by this dress. This is the real reason for the loss of one star, since I have no idea what this inch-wide thing is about I would like it better if the waistband had a thin band of elastic around it to secure your tummy from rolling up. It defeats the purpose of the tummy control by not having one constant pressure point. Usually it does not dig into fat girls like me, but when fat girls like me look as if they've been rolled over, it usually does. Likewise, I wish the gray was darker in this set but, if I had wanted colors deliberately different from each other, I probably should have purchased them individually.
