I'd go with the middle option. I'm 5'8", 165 lbs, and have a 33 waist, and the mediums are a great fit but come down to my knees, so if you're 5'10", they should be perfect.
They come in handy when I'm practicing hot yoga. They are not thin and dry quickly, but not instantly, when wet. I like them because they allow me to move freely while also keeping me enclosed and preventing embarrassing exposures. Never thought of them as being able to breathe. In hot yoga, I work up a sweat. Long pants make me feel hotter, but they don't.
It does not bother me in the least. However, as they've been washed, the waistband, which appears to be cotton, has bunched up. I'm hoping that the shorts will be changed to eliminate this flaw. Regardless, they're the best shorts I've ever owned, and I'm going to order more. It was well worth the high cost.

Period. In the end, This is the best pair of yoga shorts I've ever owned, and they're well worth the money. And I'm a skeptic to begin with! br>I'm 5'9" tall, 165 pounds, and have a 33-inch waist, so I ordered the Medium size, which fits perfectly and hasn't bunched up around my junk after several weeks (as I've noticed with other shorts of various materials). In fact, they appear to fit better after a few wears and washes. br>The material is much thicker than any other pair of shorts I've ever owned. I'm also not familiar with the inner liner. Again - There's something to be wary of. However, I value both. There's no need to buy, wash, or deal with an extra liner any longer. This one works perfectly (the liner is a little looser than the compression shorts I normally wear - However, they still do the job and are more comfortable due to their improved breathability). The shorts' weight also helps to keep everything in place. br>Three times a week, I do hot, advanced yoga, which makes me sweat a lot. These are extremely comfortable, and I haven't noticed any strange sweat marks or odor after several weeks of wearing them. However, any sweaty yoga equipment should be washed thoroughly soon after practice. br>As for the pockets, I don't mind having them to keep my keys safe on my way to and from the yoga studio. They're probably unnecessary, but they're small and unobtrusive enough that they're not a major inconvenience. In addition, there is a draw-in compartment on the inside. string. It's something I use, and it's fairly inexpensive. br>Many thanks to the designer and manufacturer of this product. These shorts are an excellent example of how to do things correctly!.
After being ecstatic about these shorts for the first week, I have to take one star away. br>I bought these at the same time as the HYLETE fuse shorts, and I'm comparing them because they're similar in price. Pros of Yoga Crow: br>br> The elastic waistband is just snug enough that the drawstring isn't even needed. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. HYLETE fuse pros: thicker fabric, bulkier seams, fabric "catches" a little on legs in some movementsbr>br>HYLETE fuse cons: thicker material, bulkier seams, fabric "catches" a little on legs in some movementsbr>br>HYLETE fuse cons: In full lunge positions, the material is barely noticeable due to the lighter material and fully gusseted crotch. I prefer without a liner. br>br>Cons: Drawstring must be tied for a snug fit because the waistband is not as tight as it should be. br>br>For me, the HYLETE short's lack of a liner is a huge plus. I'm not sure what it is about liners that people find so appealing. Why not just wear my own underwear with shorts, since I've never found a liner as comfortable as my Calvin Klein microfiber underwear? br>br>I also have to reduce my rating to two stars because I purchased both a small and a medium, both of which had their own issues. If you prefer a more snug fit, size down, according to the description. The small was a good fit for my 31" waist, but the crotch was too tight for full range of motion when I tried to move. Simply put, the material isn't light enough to allow for a secure fit. I ended up tossing the smalls after only wearing them twice. br>I prefer the mediums because they fit loosely enough to compensate for the material's thickness and have enough room in the crotch to allow full range of motion. This may not be an issue if you are shorter. br>I'm 6'2" and have a 31" waist, so the small fits perfectly in the waist and legs, but is too tight in the crotch. br>br>If you're shorter and have a thicker build, these might be ideal. If you're tall and thin, I'd recommend looking for 60 dollar shorts elsewhere. br>br>I hate to give this product only two stars, but it has to compete with the higher-priced brands at 64 dollars.
Finding the "one short to rule them all," as it turns out, is proving to be a difficult task. In terms of the Yoga Crow shorts, they're perfect for hot yoga. I've had a chance to try them out a few times now, and they've proven to be well worth the extra money over what I'm currently wearing, which is a mix of regular workout shorts and a separate trunk undergarment. They don't bunch up or fall out of place on my legs, and the liner keeps the private parts hidden. The inseam length is ideal for yoga (not too short nor too long), so these shorts could be worn for a general gym workout or just hanging out. br>br>I was worried about the material's delicacy in terms of washing instructions (i. e. (If you don't want to use the dryer, you can hang your clothes to dry. ) As it turns out, tumble drying on the low setting seems to work just fine for them. They haven't developed any odor or smell after a few weeks of use, and I'm hoping that this will continue for the duration of the shorts. br>br>In terms of using these as running shorts, I don't think they'll hold up well over longer distances, and they'll probably chaff, but I won't know for a while until I have a chance to compare them to other contenders in my "Best Workout Short" quest (currently just this one and Saxx Kinetic workout shorts, but I'm still looking for others). My ambition is to eliminate the need for single-use plastic bags. Shorts with a specific purpose for each activity, i. e. 3 or 4 if you're doing yoga, 3 if you're doing something else. 3 points for running and 5 points for walking With a price tag of $70-$80, it's a 5 for all-around workouts. That's $80 per piece, and it's starting to add up! br>br>As with the Saxx Kinetic shorts, I wish they weren't so pricey, but high-end items always seem to be more expensive. I was grateful for the follow-up. a follow-up email from the company's owner confirming that the purchase went smoothly, which it did. All-inclusive br>br> All in all, a fantastic yoga short for men that can easily be used for other types of workouts.
