I'm not a child or a teenager, and I bought these for myself because I couldn't find a pair of black yoga pants for adult women that weren't either ridiculously expensive or of poor quality. These are the best purchase I've made in a long time; they're perfect for my height, they're not too long, they're not too small or too large, they're not see-through, and they're not made of cheap material. These pants are fantastic, and I recommend them to both children and adults who are able to wear children's sizes.
These are the only yoga pants that my daughter will wear because she suffers from Sensory Processing Disorder. There are no tags to annoy her, and the cotton is soft and smooth. They fit her well because she is a tall 12-year-old. I placed another order for her in two additional colors. I'm not sure what I'll do when she grows out of these.
Finding pants that fit my daughter is extremely difficult for me. She stands 4'8" tall and weighs 95 pounds. Despite being slim, she has large hips and thighs. She has Down syndrome and finds it difficult to manipulate zippers and buttons, so pull-ons are the way to go. Leggings aren't my thing, so I prefer on-pants. I was overjoyed to discover these pants, as they are currently in style. They are extremely flattering and fit my daughter perfectly. They hug her hips a little, but then flow nicely down her legs, without being too baggy like most sweatpants. Yes, the pants were way too long for her (as are all pants for her), but I simply trimmed a few inches off the bottoms and they still look fantastic. Over the course of the last year, I've purchased six pairs of these pants in various colors. They're amazing. I adore them. They'd be the best pants ever if they had pockets.
I'm a small adult, and the fit of these yoga pants was perfect for me. I will say that these fit slightly smaller than I expected as a regular children's size 14 in pants, but I am aware that yoga pants come in a variety of tightnesses, and these are not at all uncomfortable. If you're deciding between two sizes, keep this in mind. The fabric is of a good thickness and has enough stretch to keep its shape without losing its shape. As an adult, my favorite feature of these pants is the waistband, which slopes inward as it rises, unlike many square cuts that completely ignore the natural curve of the waist and leave large gaps. It also comes with a hefty price tag- Normally, I am not a fan of fold over waists, but this one is small and does not completely eliminate the waist, as many others do. I'll let you know if they don't hold up, but I've always had good luck with Children's Place purchases since I was a kid.
It's wonderful to find a pair of comfortable pants for my daughter that don't reveal every bump and crevice on her body. These were comfortable and modest enough that I didn't feel bad sending her to school in them. These were exceptionally well-designed. made and have withstood the test of time in the washer and dryer. The color is deep and rich, and there are no signs of fading so far. They're something she wears a lot!.
Ideal for long-term use. children with four legs Great quality, well-made, and the fabric has a nice thicker but still soft feel to it! Curvy fit and adorable! Legs, on the other hand, are extremely long! At the very least, I expected it to be 3 inches longer, but that's not a big deal. These are tight at the top and looser towards the bottom of the thigh. They have a bootcut leg but are comfortable all the way down. The waistband can be folded to compensate for the long legs, which I really like. Make sure to thoroughly clean everything! Even with the extra long legs, I adore these!.
These were originally purchased in black and I absolutely loved them. The cut, the fabric weight, and the sizing are all factors to consider. All of your points are correct. As a result, I ordered the gray and not much else. "This doesn't feel right," I thought as I took them out of the package. The fabric has a thinner feel. Then I put them on and was completely baffled - tight? I've now layered the gray over the black (which has already been washed several times), and the length is shorter and the width is narrower from the waist to just a few inches above the hem. They appeared to be a full size smaller, so I double-checked to see if I'd been sent the wrong size; nope, both were stamped with the same size. I'd buy a third pair if the gray was of comparable quality to the black. I'm not going to take any chances right now. I'll admit that the fabric is stretchy enough that I can wear the gray around the house comfortably, but I don't think they're appropriate for public consumption.
My daughter is very particular about her pants, and she adores these. I should have purchased more than one pair! I ordered the size 10 because she's eight years old and in between sizes. I'm so glad I took the chance. She won't be able to wear them for more than a few months. They're incredibly soft and high-quality.
