As the negative reviews state, this wheel is extremely narrow at 5 inches wide. It's a balancing act to stay on it, but I expected The frames in a majority of these flex and look like they are probably made by a single factory. It does concern me that it might break with me crouching over it, since there are plenty of reviews on most brands of this type that show photos of breaks and I would rate the cushion as good until the seam when it is glued into place. As of this writing, there is a sloppy transition over the seam, and it will only get worse as time progresses. Having never used a yoga wheel, I was not sure what to expect when I bought it. However, I had heard good things about it from friends. The book that comes with it includes some great exercises and stretches. There are some pictures and you can figure out what poses to do. The only thing I dislike is that the first few steps simply name a yoga pose to start on and I don't know all the names of all yoga poses. Stretching your back with this is so freakin awesome. Unlike foam rollers, this is one hundred times better than them.

This is not true of my yoga wheel. It has been used daily by 2 of my kids for the last year There were four of us who showed no signs of wear immediately. Wrapping the padding very tightly around ensures it stays securely in place. There should be a larger wheel option available for men with larger torsos and larger frames.

It's so amazing how much I love it. The job I have requires me to do desk work and yoga twice a week The work week is 4 days long. It is great when I am unable to get on my mat, because it feels so good to stretch my back and it almost always cracks as I do it. My yoga practice days will be days when I will use the wheel to perform additional stretches before or after. It especially feels good when I am in a passive fish pose or when my lower back is under the water. My height is 5'2 and I weigh 125 pounds. I've made this my go-to product. There are no problems with durability and I do not mind that there is no groove for my spine. I've never used one like that before, so I cannot compare, but it doesn't seem as necessary.
