The reviews that I read before I purchased were just too high on expectations, and so I shrugged them off. NOT AT ALL. You need to be careful with this thing! There is a VERY unsteady feeling. When I assembled it correctly and placed less weight on it than was recommended, it came out fine. The snap was heard while I was exercising in my gym. If my children had been around at that time, they could have been injured or even killed as the whole thing fell apart. You don't need to believe me. This was going to be okay, I thought. I wouldn't call it that. I advise you not to buy!.
There is just a slight problem with the diameter of the weight tree arms when it comes to holding Olympic My initial offer from the company was a refund, but they asked me to pay return shipping (which would be equal or more than the product cost). After I pointed this out to the customer service rep, he offered me $16 and said I could keep the product and resell it or gift it to someone else. There is a weight tree for Olympic plates that does not fit Olympic plates. Who should I resell it to?.
During the last few years, we have seen many racks come and go. There are no frills here, but the quality is excellent. I'm also concerned about the thin metal used to hold the vertical upright to the base, especially since there are only two bolts holding it up. I am afraid the thin metal plate will not hold up to the torque applied by those two bolts if this plate holder is loaded out of balance or begins to tip. When you compare it to other plate racks, most of them sell by other brands, feature a flat metal plate on both sides of the upright to connect the vertical upright to the base more securely.
I am first and foremost concerned about the seller's shady practices. I keep getting tries to have my review removed. You will not be refunded indirectly if you return your product to them. Considering that the USPS will send you a return label, YOU are the one who has to pay for that, so you end up paying more for this useless heap of tin than you did for the product. Make a favor to yourself and don't buy it then you won't find yourselves in the same situation as me. Secondly, there is a problem with the plate tree. It has screws that can't screw on the The round edges prevent them from being gripped by a wrench. It is unbelievable how cheaply made this thing is. When you have placed your arms across the cross, you should Lastly, the biggest negative is that the whole purpose of it is to hold and fit plates, and my bumper or rubber plates do not fit, so I have no idea who made it but it is of no use to me. In any case, I am not sure if they will hold that much weight, even if they fit. The third thing I wonder is how this product has four and five With the reviews, I'm sure they have a problem. You will save a lot of headaches if you do a little research or pay a few dollars more from an appropriate source from time to time.
The weights are well-secured, and it only took me about 20 minutes to install it. The instructions were simple, and the unit itself is strong and sturdy. There is plenty of room on it to take much more than I am putting on it. I cannot believe how tall it is, but yet shouldn't take up much space. It holds 2 Olympic bars and there is plenty of space between the weights. It holds Olympic weight plates and collars as well. Moreover, it measures 55" tall x 24" deep x 26" wide (but here you need to leave a lot of room on the floor to remove your weights). This black powder coat holds plates securely in place without the slightest give, and it's easy to put on and take Since it is brand new, I don't yet have any evidence that it will scratch up. That is normal and it's not a big deal.
The rack is ok for holding a limited amount of weight. The idea may work for people who have a home gym, and only need a place to keep a few plates from lying around. I'm not saying that it wouldn't function well but when weight is added it becomes quite wobbly and extremely The bolts were tightened to eliminate the wobble, but it still appears to be happening. The metal, unfortunately, weakened so much that it began to cave in along the bottom, and it's really the thin nature of the materials that's to blame. Quite frankly, it is not worth your time.
The problem is. Assembling the plastic pieces is difficult, and installing them is rather difficult as well. The trick is to manipulate and force your way into doing it. In my opinion, the worst part of this is that my plates are REALLY tight to slide on (brand name plates) because of the 2" heavy tubes. In order to align the plate perfectly, you need to slow down, use 2 hands and align it When exercising, you tend to avoid doing this kind of activity. Placing the plates back on is what you need to do. I think this was a good game overall As far as I am concerned, all you need to do is realize the above 'issues', The only other option seems to be out of the question.
I guess that's fine. For $145, I likely thought I would get a better quality, but I was probably wrong. The product is suitable for light usage. Now that I look back, I should've invested a little more money and bought a nicer scarf.
