I find these to be extremely useful. Previously, they came with a rubber bumper that you placed over the post to keep the bolts from marring the weights. You should make sure that they are installed in the right way On one side, there is a subtle upward tilt, which keeps the plates in place. In the case of one of them, I installed it upside down Due to my actions, I am at fault Upon redoing it, I had to make changes.

This is an easy install and it holds quite a bit of We already have 4 of these posts installed for 45s, 35s, 25s, and 10/5s

To install the post, just center it in the stud and drill a hole, then lag the screw in place. There is no easier way to do it. Due to my small gym space, this function has been helpful in removing some clutter around the walls and dumbbell.
