According to the one I got in July 2019, it looks like hard plastic, although it might as well be UHMW (I do not have access to a test). In any case, it's not rubber like on some of the prior images. A good quality product, but plastic should cover the part that is at a 45-degree angle as well.
You are right.
Thanks for the 2 x 2 and the 3 x 3 It did have the screw in the back so they could pick it up. Quite frankly, I don't know why it isn't shown in the photos.
In a word, no! There are two power racks in the Powertec fitness rack. There is no such thing as a 2" square tube, but a 375" square tube. There is only one vendor that I know of that is able to provide hooks that will fit this cell pattern, and that A 2-point win for J Hooks A half inch will work as well, but the fit is a little loose.

Knowing this flaw, and personally experiencing hooks 'rolling' where stock hooks had the potential to fall off, I decided to do my due diligence and Purchasing these jean jackets will prove to be a very good investment. With hooks for the squat rack, you increase the safety of weightlifting exercises by a great deal. If you already have standard hooks that 'roll,' like those that are included with the Fitness Reality 810XLT, then you should consider buying this.
As if they were made for the Fitness Reality 810, these fit perfectly. An extremely snug and secure fit no wobble at all You should be able to slide in/out of the crossbars without any dragging. In many reviews, rubber padding had been described as being included, but my order came with a slick plastic covering. I will continue to use these and will update the review if I run into My only issue was that these are advertised as "prime shipping" however, they don't work for me. Once the shipment notice was received, it took 4 business days for the package to arrive. Just something to keep in mind. A quick update Due to the hooks scratching my rack, I have decided to knock this down to 2 stars. Attaching the plastic is difficult because the screws are too long and hang out so much on the other side that they It was necessary to take the screws down to the proper length with an angle grinder.
With the 2" posts on my Fitness Reality cage, I got this. Lifting weights over 200 pounds is usually a challenge for me. But if they do it twice, I can't see how that would be a problem. Regarding the other comments that made me a little concerned, the one-inch post that goes through the cage to secure it in place sticks through the 2" post with about half an inch extra, so I'm not concerned that it will come out while using it. It is also noteworthy that the screws that hold the pads in place do not go through the cage's posts, so they do not scratch them. The J hook is held in place with a screw clamp on the back. While that screw poses a small risk of scratching the paint, it is just a weight cage, so I don't mind If it does eventually get really scratched up, there is a substance called paint that can cover up the scratches fairly well.
My needs were met. Have a Titan T-shirt that's rad -- With the included J-rack, you will have two racks There is bare painted steel on the hooks. As soon as I retrieved the bar, I knew I had to replace it When the hooks and bar were in contact, there was a lot of friction, making it difficult to move the bar It is impossible to go to this place. It was discovered that Titan did not have enough stock of official plastics They are covered with leather. We should all say yes to Yes4All! It's a little cheaper, it's very good quality, and it fits the rack beautifully. A solid 10!.
My 2X2 cage (Fitness Reality 810XLT) fits perfectly on this rack, and it There are a few minor issues '1) The perpendicular surface of the wall When I set the barbell down, it naturally rolls away from the cage to the part of the J-shaped cage which is nearest the floor The hook is made of bare metal and is not padded. it's silly that they didn't tilt it a little more towards the cage instead of away from it so that the bar naturally rolls towards it, rather than away from 2) The "padding" is made of a hard plastic material that is slick and has absolutely no give. It seems solid enough, but keep in mind that your bar will slide around on this surface fairly It has been reported in other reviews that these pads can wear rapidly. 3) The knob on the back of this device that's supposed to secure everything in place is just a bare screw that drives into your cage, leaving behind a groove in the paint as well as scratching it. In any case, I don't use these screws at all, and everything sits fairly securely as long as you have control over It is true that these things bounce around if you slam the bar down hard enough. These things are priced right (*$25)on the Internet, so I have no reason to complain.
I was surprised to receive two beautiful hooks within less than 24 hours of ordering. I opened the box to find two hooks that you worked so hard to make. This looked like a solid unit. It is strong. I like the hooks very much. By doing so I was able to put them on my squat rack and measure right. I love how they fit perfectly! Squats are a great way to train. It was remarkable to see the difference when racking. I love how easy it is. It's not fun trying to rack a bar on a hook that has raised edges if you're exhausted after a set of heavy squats. There is no point to it. Among the accessories that came with my rack were circles hooks. Clearly these are going to change things for the better. The items I purchased were necessary when I just started my home gym, so I will purchase them again should the need arise. As I said, I doubt I'll see them since they'll probably last as long as I do. You're doing a good job. Also, if it is raised, the bar will remain secure since the edge is raised enough to prevent it from falling Following is a selection of photos that I took after I used it once. The were brand new when they arrived.
It would not be a good idea to rely on They've got a hard rubber coating where the bar lies, and I liked that aspect of them. There is one problem with these that makes them seem high quality, but they are not. Due to their short length, the pins do not extend all the way through I had previously purchased a pair of J-style shoes but these are significantly shorter Hooks are dangerous for heavy weights, so I would not trust them with It seems as if this was a stupid design decision. For safety, I would recommend finding ones with a longer pin.
