The weight of my titan fitness 1500 lb bar is 86 pounds. About 5 inches. Combined the two sides of this cage have only 2 inches of free space, so it has one inch free space on each side. The outside to outside space is 49 inches, while the color to color space is 52 inches. There is definitely a safety issue here, and it is a The manufacturer thought I was kidding when he came to my house for a power cage fix, but when they measured the area of my bar, they realized I wasn't kidding.

Selected User Reviews For Fitness Reality X-Class Light Commercial High Capacity Olympic Power Cage

It is reasonably priced, but there are some significant shortcomings
3/5

CLICK HERE to read before you buy. Power racks are touted as being easy to assemble, and the parts are indeed organized nicely, but that shouldn't be the major factor in deciding whether or not to purchase one. It's pretty simple for all of them. This product has no accessories available for sale.

There are no accessories available for this product. There are none. Because of the somewhat unusual dimensions of its upright bars (3"x2"), even finding plates holders or j-hooks with the upright bars would be challenging It seems unfair that hooks are so rare, and that there is nothing else to try. The lack of warranty is a pretty major issue, and I regret buying this product for a lot of reasons. Actually, I should have known better than to buy a power rack from Amazon, but the price was too good to pass up, so I did. We can always learn from our mistakes. Pull-downs to be used with the Lat pull-down Count to ten! Which is a bit odd, since their cheaper model includes them (because they're pretty Is it different with Whenever you try to buy them, you can't, so it renders the whole thing worthless When you do not intend to use light weights, this down system is nearly useless. Moreover, I deducted a star for Fitness Reality's total disregard for customer service. I had an issue with one of the pull-up bars and we couldn't figure out how to fix it. In addition to pulling the cables, I also went to their website and filled out a form with every bit of data needed, including finding the Emails are not being sent. A black hole in the form wasted my time, and I now have a cable that has a separation in the rubber sheathing. It appears that their support is completely non-existent as well, according to reports I've read This is true. Add to this the fact that the safety bars are a real pain in the neck to adjust (which you'll need to do quite frequently), and you have another reason to knock a star off. I found it to be an extremely frustrating design, and you'll notice that many other people are also frustrated by it. This is one piece that needs to be adjusted frequently and is a pain to do. *** So, while you could hope this would garner lots of 5-star reviews, many of which come from people who only just installed it, I suggest paying heed to your long-term maintenance first. You will need a power rack in the long run. Should you ever need to expand upon the capabilities of the rack, or if you plan on contacting support at any point in time, the cheap price tag on this rack may end up costing you more in the long run than you anticipated. It's not something that can be sent back in a box, so choose carefully. If you can afford to spend a little more money and buy from a reputable company, I would recommend you do The reason something is cheap sometimes has something to do with its cost.

It's just a matter of purchasing This game is the best (almost) in the world

Taking it from the top down. The fact that I chose this cage over all of the others was one of the main reasons for my decision. Since it was shipped with a lat attachment, four boxes were needed. There are two cages for the main cage, and two attachments for the lats. Despite their early arrival, 3 of the boxes were received well ahead of their scheduled arrival. looked fine, except one box was a little damaged, and one of the four corner posts had fallen out and looked a little scratched In my opinion, the shipping company was to blame for the situation. I felt nothing was severely damaged, however, so I did not feel the need to take any We were lucky to find the main cage in two of the boxes. I was absolutely amazed at how easy it was to assemble with my wife. Assembling the cage probably took longer than removing the packaging, assembling the parts, and throwing away the shipping materials. In less than two hours after unpackaging, I had assembled the kit. The assembly instructions are well written and clear. There are not enough words to express my gratitude With products such as this, you get so used to poor written and drawn instructions where you do your best but then have to disassemble the whole thing because of a lack of clarity. The thing worked like a champ after it was assembled. After it was assembled I expected a disaster, but I got a huge surprise. You'll hear no squeaks, no sways, or wobbles. The cage provides the sense of absolute safety that a cage of this type is supposed to provide. The 11 is one of my favorites. It is recommended that you use 5 inch extended safety bars for bench rigging because this allows for an increased degree of maneuverability. I find the J hooks included in this kit to be very useful for squats because they are designed so well. In some reviews, people state that the pull-up bar became weaker as time went on I am 6' tall and can grab them flat footed (I can grab them flat footed if I need to I can go up to them comfortably) but I am not sure why you are complaining. Fortunately, I have these nice bendy things in the middle of the back of my legs called knees which allow me to keep my feet off the ground. I was able to assemble the lat attachment after a few days when the second box for the attachment arrived. This time, the instructions were perfect. It took me less than an hour and a half to put it together on my own. Despite the Lat attachment being the deciding factor in my purchase of this cage, I still HATE the lat attachments typically found in home gyms. It has always been super uncomfortable to feel that kind of friction that seems like it will tear your muscles apart instead of strengthening them. As soon as I finished assembling it and placed weight on it, I was It's very hard to pull and creates a lot of friction. Although the instructions recommended putting some silicone oil on the bar, I chose not to do so. Comparing it to a commercial gym pulley, it doesn't seem all that different. There is only one thing I do not like about this cage, and that is that the 35 is difficult to fit into it. The safety bars fit into the rack 5" wide. To efficiently place them, I find that looking through the hole from the inside and lining them up are the best methods. However, it isn't even close to consideration for the loss of a star. My overall opinion of this cage is that it is very awesome, and I have seen significant gains in all my exercises that usually require use of a spotter, as I can now exercise independently and push my weight knowing that even if I fail, this cage will keep me going. In my experience, when people are shopping for cages, they put blinders on and only consider brands like Rogue vs Titan, however I urge them to think outside the box in this case and also consider The following edit was made on In order to get an update on how this purchase has held up 13 months after the event, I am writing this post. This rack has been used roughly four times a week by both my wife and me for the past The eight times a week used over a 13 month period is roughly 416 times total. The cage has provided a safe atmosphere in which my wife has seen huge gains in weightlifting, and I have added 100 pounds to my bench press and over 100 pounds to my squat. I've also increased my deadlift by 150 lbs by incorporating deficit deadlifts (outside the cage) and rack pulls inside. A year later, I still think this would be a five star must buy for anyone looking to increase their strength in the comfort of their own home.

A solid foundation
5/5

A capable individual. A worthy read. In addition to the power cage, I had a limited selection of what would ship to Alaska, but having purchased the Fitness Reality bench and weight tree, both of which were solid, easy to assemble, and came in good packaging, I did not hesitate to order something else in that product line. This can be a bit stressful, considering it is a lot of weight to send back if it is garbage, and because it is more difficult up here, so it can be a little risky. I got the lat pull down attachment and the items came in 4 boxes as they all held up well during the abuse that UPS gave them all the way from SC Although evidently abused, the large box was 130 lbs or around 150 pounds. The box was still intact, even though it had obviously been abused. There was nothing to complain about, nothing was loose, not even a scratch on any of the components. A pair of socket wrenches and a pair of pliers made assembly simple and took only a few minutes. The real garage gym is still coming together (I need to fit my wife's car inside when it's set up The article is dated 30), but I wanted to put it up as soon as I received All of the products I've ordered from them have impressed me. The decision I made is not one I regret.
