It was hung backwards. Yes, the pull-up bar would be suspended from the bolts, but there are 12 bolts in total, 8 of which are horizontal, making it nearly impossible for it to come loose without giving you plenty of warning. br>br>If you turn it upside down, I'd say you're about 5'10 - 5'11" tall. If you're that tall, the 6' clearance under the pull-up may be an issue. br>br>You can also do a pullup on it, though you'll have to bend your knees and there won't be any hanging weights under you (though I believe that would be true even if it was oriented up).
I'm using a CAPS 6 foot bar with collars that measure roughly 48" apart. Although it is a tight fit, it is functional.
The holes have a diameter of one inch.
Yes 83. With the top chin up attachment curved upwards, I'd give it a 5 minus a hair. This fits perfectly in my 7' basement, with padding underneath. So it will fit in an 8' or 7' basement with no drop ceiling and only concrete. This unit comes highly recommended by me. It's of excellent quality for the price, and I'm very pleased with it. I wanted to make one out of wood, but the material cost was nearly as much. So this is a great deal that saved me a lot of time and effort.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better deal on a rack with this design. It took about 2 hours to construct the rack. 3 hours of me taking my sweet time making sure everything was in order. If you get the Bench with it, which I highly recommend, it should take you no more than 30 minutes to put together. Let's get down to business and look at the rack itself. The safety bar holes are every 2 inches on this power rack, which is fantastic! It will save anyone's life in the event of a failure as long as they have their safety bars in the correct holes for their body and are exercising properly. This rack is incredibly sturdy, and it can support virtually any weight for powerlifting! If you're a fan of the pull-up bar, pulls the attached pulley higher The strength of the up bar is also impressive. As I've seen some racks with pull-up bars, it also gives you a nice distance from the ground and the bar itself. Overall, I'd recommend this Rack to anyone who is trying to get into muscle building and heavy weightlifting. It'll come in handy when you're working out by yourself! I will say that it is a little tight inside for squats, but they are still very manageable. Also, if you're wondering if a regular standard bar will work on this, the answer is no; you'll need an Olympic or a rare Standard 7 ft bar. I have a 6 foot bar that fits very tightly, but weights will hit the safety bars on squats, and re-racking is a pain because the weights must be re-racked perfectly due to their close proximity. So you'll need a 7-foot bar just to give yourself some extra room for racking and proper form on exercises. Needless to say, the bench isn't spectacular, but it is a good bench with a variety of positions and a reasonable weight limit! Thank you for your time, and if anyone has any specific questions or concerns, I'd be happy to address them! I hope this information is useful to anyone who is thinking about purchasing this rack or is on the fence about doing so.
The rack is of excellent quality. The pull-up bar is solid, and the frame is sturdy. Cage: br>What a fantastic product; this is without a doubt one of, if not the best, Amazon purchases I've ever made. I did a lot of research on these cages and, with the help of other reviewers on here, I chose the 810xl, which turned out to be a fantastic choice, so let's get started. First and foremost, I was one of the fortunate ones who received everything in one piece, and I must say that when the packaging isn't abused in transit, this item is extremely well packaged and extremely simple to assemble; if I wasn't taking my time, I could have this bad boy put together in under an hour. There are a few key assembly tips to keep in mind: Nothing should be tightened until everything is in place. To fit together squarely and level, the cage must settle into its position before tightening. Next, when tightening, I recommend starting at the bottom and working your way up, tightening both fasteners per joint evenly in stages. In fact, I recommend tightening the entire unit in stages, making sure the unit remains square and level as you go. br>br>Functionality comes next; the cage simply works. It feels very sturdy, and the pull-up bar easily supports my 250-pound weight and a 45-pound plate around my waist. The safety bars are solid; I would prefer Jhooks, but the included ones are adequate; and, despite the fact that this unit has fewer holes than some others, I have yet to have difficulty finding a good adjustment. br>br>I added a Tbar row attachment by yes4all, a set of TDS dip bars, and a set of 2" olympic plate holders (which really help keep the cage planted when loaded with a plate or two) to make this cage even more functional. br>Pros:
- You won't find a better deal anywhere elsebr>- Construction of high qualitybr>- Easy to put together (tools included)br>- Suitable for use in the homebr>- There are a plethora of add-ons availablebr>br>Cons:
- Hooks aren't as good as they could be. br>- Damaged packaging and missing hardware have been reported, which aren't exactly encouraging. br>br>Bench: br>br> br>Ok, so I read a lot of negative reviews for this bench, but I decided to buy the package anyway. I have no regrets; the bench was simple to put together, adjust, and move; the padding is adequate but could be thicker; and the wheels make moving it a breeze. It did, however, have a few flaws. For starters, the little horizontal bar for hooking your feet was slightly out of square when welded to its bracket; this type of simple workmanship flaw is aggravating. Second, as several other reviewers have noted, the "flat" position is actually deteriorating! I'm not sure if this is a workmanship or design flaw, but the solution is incredibly simple. To fix this in my case, I put a heavy duty 1/2" rubber mat under the low side, which works pretty well, but I think something 3/4 would be ideal. Apart from that, the bench is functional, has a large capacity, and is an excellent value. br>Pros:
- Simple to put togetherbr>- Simple to usebr>- Value-for-money is difficult to come by. br>- Suitable for everyday usebr>br>Cons:
- Simple flaws in the workmanshipbr>- Not even close to being level? I'm not sure how this simple problem went unnoticed before these were put into production.
