Getting a support bar to disengage and fall out of a weight bar requires lateral movement of the weight bar. As weight is applied to the bar, the short ones will fall off completely, while the long ones will become shaky and Attached you will find the video I used as an example. There are other products from Marcy fitness that I really like and this one is somehow related to that. Amazon deserves a lot of credit for returning the item so quickly.

It feels sturdy enough for barbell lifts and strict pull ups, but it is not durable or heavy duty to handle exercises such as kipping pull ups or toe to bar exercises. I weigh 112 pounds and thought I could use it for this exercise. Using sand bags, I will try to make the structure more sturdy. Putting barbells on racks also seems risky because of the lack of a sturdy way to set the piece of equipment. Overall, it's a good product, but for someone who is much heavier and is serious about lifting, I wouldn't recommend this product.

Three squat racks later, here I am. My old house has a heavy duty one which I can't move and which will not fit in my new garage and shop, so I have to leave it there. The exercise bike that my wife has isn't mine, however, I wanted a machine that I could put outside as well. I love working out outside at my old place because it's private, and I can squat and do other exercises outside while in the sun. I cannot move my heavy rack because it is too big. Due to the price and the fact that it has a Multi grip overhead pull up bar, I bought it. We did not have any problems putting it together. This rack is not as strong or sturdy as my heavy rack, but that was expected. The pull up bar is a great feature for outside. It will be great when it's warmer outside. It is not difficult for me to squat over 500 pounds. During my first use of the rack, I ran 365 repetitions and was a little unsure as to whether it could hold that much weight. There is a weight limit of 300 pounds, according to the rules. will use medium weights for higher reps anyway this summer, so I think I will be fine with the weight change. Although I am somewhat pleased with my purchase, I am not completely thrilled. A little disappointed after installing it perfectly to find that it's wobbly when I tried to use it. In order to counter this, I added some Olympic weight pegs to each of the posts totaling 600 pounds. This however did not prevent the posts from wobbling. There is a thin layer of metal on the plate. As well, the J hooks, safety catch, and metal parts of the coat are a bit worn out. To my liking, it is a good school. Unrolled metal edges would put a lot of strain on your fingers if you were doing squats and about to rack your weights with a wide grip. I am very disappointed in Amazon, this thing has dropped in price over $120 since I first bought it a month ago. So who knows how long this thing will last. Another thing I am very disappointed in, although it has nothing to do with the manufacturer, is the price of this thing.

As a first part, it does not need to be tied down to the floor but isn't wobbly either. The second thing that makes the material stand out is that it is of good gauge. A rack should have good gauge material. Considering all that was involved, it was worth every penny.

A cheaper rack of this quality is just as sturdy as any other. My weight is 250, and it is no problem to wear it. Moves are available in a variety of positions due to the bar positions. This is the exact same cage as the XLT810. I bought the lat pull down and add-ons from French Road and they work with this If you are looking for a power cage, this might be a good choice.
