Go to the neoprene section of the store. They can withstand more!
Neoprene is a polymer of chloroprene that goes by the chemical name polychloroprene. Although chloroprene is suspected of causing cancer, its polymer does not cause cancer. br>The chloroprene in neoprene is the subject of the California warning. That chloroprene, on the other hand, is tightly bound within the polymer. To unbind the chloroprene in neoprene, you'd need a powerful chemical (stronger than your sweat). As a precaution, California passed a law requiring nearly all products to bear warning labels. As a research chemist, I can assure you that these products are completely safe to use on a daily basis.
Hello, the handles aren't overly large. My 5'2" daughter has had no trouble with them.
It is for two people. As a result, for that price, you get two.

I was initially very pleased with both of them; they were both comfortable and simple to use. After four months (now February 2020), I noticed that both of these dumbbells were oozing a toxic slimy substance that had damaged a varnished coffee table in our living room, as shown in the attached photo. These dumbbells are no longer in use, and they are currently stored in our garage. If you want to buy a different brand, plan on reading reviews first.
These dumbbells do not appeal to me in the least. I could live with the fact that they're shorter than my other weights (and thus won't fit on a standard weight rack), but the grip circumference is also much larger than my other weights; It barely fits in the palm of my hand (which is a woman's large). If you have a big hand and don't mind keeping them on your weight rack, get them; otherwise, pass. To demonstrate the difference between one of these dumbbells and a standard metal dumbbell, I've included a photo. br>br>On the plus side, the seller has been accommodating in returning them (minus shipping costs).
Dumbbells irritate me. Because my usual brand was out of 12s, I had to buy these in a pinch. These were horrible to hold and extremely difficult to control. I have small hands, so it felt like I was trying to hold a soda can in my hands.
These weights piqued my interest because I needed something to help me transition from 15 to 20 pounds for a few exercises - Rather than a 5lb jump, try a 10lb jump. However, the grip (the area around which you wrap your hand) is extremely wide, which prevents me from using them as intended. My grip isn't strong enough, and I let a weight slip from my grasp. Wearing my training gloves adds to the problem by creating an additional barrier to proper grip. Only if you have large hands will you be able to safely grip the weight while performing exercises.
For the most part, I only buy CAPS 10 lb. CAPS neoprene hex dumbbells because they're pretty good and don't put their logo ahead of the product, but finding one in a fun color for 10 lbs is difficult. weights for the hands Overall, I think these are great for what they are: a solid hex shape for safe placement, a balanced weight, a beautiful color, and an incredibly low price. For two reasons, I'm giving it a one-star rating: (1) The vinyl on these gets a little slippery if you're working out hard (I do HIIT), which should never happen with good quality weights, and (2) the logo is prominently displayed, attracting more attention than the actual weight amount, which just tells me they don't care about their product quality—for quick-fix weights. During HIIT, when grabbing hand weights, the number can be crucial. It is never the case with their logo. br>br>Overall, I recommend these if you don't do any workouts that require you to sweat your hands. Sweating these weights makes them slick, which makes them potentially dangerous. br>br>Also, I can't recommend these for kettle bell moves (some of which can be done with hand weights), because the slipperiness increases the risk of injury when doing sharp movements.
Because it was the cheapest option, I ordered this particular set (12lbs). They have a good grip and do the job. The grip, on the other hand, is excessively large for my small hands. The green 12 pound dumbbell is shown next to a standard dumbbell in this photo. Simply be conscious. It wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have any children. hands of a certain size Unfortunately, returning them costs nearly as much as buying them, so they'll be staying put.
These are nice weights, and odd sizes are difficult to come by. Great customer service. They're of excellent craftsmanship. My only criticism is that the handles are too large for my small hands to safely use. They provided excellent customer service and made it simple for me to return them.
This is a fantastic deal on neoprene. dumbbells with a coating When I went to my neighborhood Dick's Sporting Goods to look at weights, they wanted $18 for ONE 3-pound weight. pound weight That seemed excessive, so I went home and checked Amazon, where I discovered these for nearly a third of the price, plus free Prime shipping via UPS. Certainly, the price is unbeatable. br>br>As for the weights, they're a smidgeon too short, and the bar is a smidgeon too big around, but not by much. For the casual user, this is a deal breaker. I'm 72 years old and just wanted something to give my arms a light workout, and these are ideal. The design could be a little better, but I'm not complaining because of the price. My 5- The star rating is based on the value you receive for your money, not on the weights themselves. I would buy them again in a heartbeat because they are well worth the money.
