These weights have a nice coating, but they aren't all the same weight. I noticed that the middle section of the 5 and 3 pound sets were different - The thickness of one was clearly greater than the thickness of the other. I assumed that two different molds were used for the same weight dumbbell for some strange reason, but I eventually weighed both of the 3 lb weights on my food scale. It turns out that one equals two. One weighs 5 pounds, while the other weighs 3 pounds. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing. As a result, I'm guessing the 5 and 8 pound weights aren't evenly distributed between sets. After each set, I'm going to try to alternate the dumbbells between hands so that both sides are even. It's a real pain.

In addition, the color was slightly different from what was shown in the photo. I expected better quality for the price, and getting a refund has proven to be extremely difficult. I DO NOT recommend this company for purchases; be aware that they may refuse to refund you even if the product is not as advertised!.

The coating has been removed from the handle and is peeling away. I'm trying to figure out if I can get a replacement for just the 8-pound dumbbell or if I have to return the entire set. Returns/exchanges do not appear to have an option for this, as far as I can tell. Please look at the photos.

The weights arrived in good condition and meet my requirements. The weights, on the other hand, were sent in a plain envelope. They taped the salvageable pieces around the weights, according to the evidence. The dumbbells were then wrapped in caution tape and labeled before being mailed. All of this would be fine if it weren't for the lack of a stand/rack, which was the main reason I bought this small set in the first place. If the rack had been included, the delivery system would simply be unappealing and not a problem. br>br>Amazon will refund if returned by September 5, which is a big deal considering the weight set is 74 pounds. As a New Yorker without a car, I have no way of getting these weights to a UPS store without making the entire process a nightmare. Furthermore, there is no way to contact the seller listed on the website. The problem would be solved if the rack could be sent, but there is no system in place to do so.

I received a score of three. I bought an 8-pound set of weights and started strength training with them. The criticisms of the plastic rack made by others are correct. It's not worth your time to put it together. Many people would like a neat storage space for everything, and the vendor has tried to accommodate them, but it isn't necessary in this case. The weights are great, and I've got them neatly stacked in a living room corner now. They take up a lot less space when stacked together than when they were in the rack. Furthermore, because each weight has its own color, distinguishing the 3 from the 5 from the 8 is simple. pound weight They don't require a unique "address" on the rack. They don't roll around either, thanks to their hexagonal ends. I'm glad I got this set for a reasonable price, and I'm looking forward to progressing to the heavier weights.

This was delivered on time, in perfect condition, with all of the pieces intact, and then bam! I haven't used the dumbbells yet, but my kids can now lift something moderately heavy and work out with me. I strongly suggest it!.

These J- Fit dumbbells are enhanced by a rack that assembles in minutes using only six screws. I went with the three-pound, five-pound, and eight-pound sets, and they're perfect. The hand feel is very pleasant, and there is no slipping, as with metal. They won't roll because of their octagonal shape. They will remain in the location where you have placed them. My wife and I participate in an online workout program, and these dumbbells are a great addition to our senior workout. A nice feature is the compact storage, as shown in the photos. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

The weights are ideal for my needs, and they're also reasonably priced. made, and I like how small the stand's footprint is. However, the advertised product's all-steel design is VERY MISTAKEN, as the stand is only made of plastic. The material of the stand is not mentioned anywhere else in the product description. The stand easily wobbles from side to side when the weights are in place. as if it were a high-rise building in San Francisco In the event of an earthquake, the ground will rise. You just have to be careful with the stand; it could have easily been made out of a couple of pieces of stamped steel for a fraction of the price, and I looked on Amazon and other sites for a similar size and design steel stand without success.
