Questions & Answers
I have the green three-pound weights, but I'm guessing the opening is the same across the board. It's too narrow to fit over the handlebars of a bicycle. They were designed to be used as hand weights when walking or jogging.
No, they're curved, even on the flat side, and I tried to stand it up on all sides, but the weight wouldn't support it. They are, however, excellent weights for a variety of other applications. Because of the non-slip surface, they are pleasant to hold. For a secure grip, use a non-slip coating and designate a spot for each finger.
each weighing 5 pounds
The weight is stated to be two pounds. 87 kg, or a little more than 6 lbs. So it's two 3 pound weights plus packaging for a total of 6 lbs.

These were purchased to be used while walking and they are fantastic. Even just swinging them in my hands while walking (4 miles) gives my (80-year-old) back, core, and even legs a good workout. If I were younger, I'm sure I'd get better results by pumping them and doing other things while walking. I also use them while watching TV, and I've discovered that because of their shape, I can put them over my toes and do weighted leg lifts with them. They have a pleasant feel to them and are simple to hold and operate. I am extremely happy.
They have a great grip. These attractive, easy-to-hold weights are perfect for me. They are ideal for working out and, more importantly, for someone like me who is undergoing Physical Therapy on my arm as a result of a surgery that was supposed to be a quick recovery but turned into a nightmare! Anyways, these weights are great for any woman who wants to tone or build strength in her arms. I'm glad I didn't get 5 pounds because they get heavy walking miles doing a workout, so 4 pounds is perfect for me. I went from 2 1/2 pounds to four pounds because I needed the extra weight to push myself. I still have a long way to go, but I'm on the right track with my PT and will continue to work out my arms, especially the one that is still healing. I'm very pleased with my purchase and am glad I didn't wait too long for them to arrive.
I began with the 4 pound weight and gradually increased to the 5 pound weight. Love em. I take these on hour-to-two-hour hikes in the local mountains almost every day. I can even fit two in one hand thanks to the excellent design, allowing me to double the weight and isolate different muscle groups with a variety of simple upper-body exercises. If they get dusty or wet, these weights clean up nicely, which is a plus for those who sweat and don't like a gritty or slimy feel in their hands. Don't be hesitant to buy these; they're worth it compared to some of the junk that's similar and a little less expensive.
My 83-year-old mother, who suffers from severe osteoarthritis and requires physical therapy for her shoulder, bought this. It's perfect for her because it fits over her hands, even when they're swollen and inflamed. Also, when she's doing her exercises, she doesn't have to grasp them very tightly to keep them in place.
After much deliberation, I selected the 5-pound (each) set. These, on the other hand, are absolutely fantastic. If I want a little more resistance, I can comfortably double them up without fear of one of them slipping or falling. The neoprene is soft and makes them easy to grip. br>I keep these at work because they're so low-profile; they're a great buy!.
These are fantastic! A minimalist lifestyle is required when living in a small apartment. When something new comes in, something has to go out, but these hand weights don't take up any space, so they can stay AND I don't have to throw anything away! The neoprene covering is comfortable to wear and non-abrasive. slip. I basically follow them around from room to room. They're simply a convenient way to exercise without having to visit the gym. They won't replace weights in the gym, but they'll come in handy around the house.
I really like how it looks and how simple it is to use. Because I suffer from chronic dizziness and am unable to do much, my doctor suggested that I do some arm exercises. I exercise with a Desk Cycle, but I need something to strengthen my arms. I do have some hand weights that aren't as comfortable to work with because they're shaped differently. I purchased these and am very pleased with them. When I need to increase my weights, I'll purchase more.
To work my triceps, I do a lot of arm stretching exercises, and I try to do as many reps as possible in each set. I found 5 lbs to be too difficult, but 1 lb was too light, so I was looking for a middle ground. These are exactly what I'm looking for. They're easy to hold thanks to the finger grips, though they're a little thick. I believe they would be difficult for someone with small hands to use, but they are ideal for what I require.
