Questions & Answers

For the sake of safety, do hurdles fall and remain down?

They're only 6 inches tall, which isn't much. They are fairly stable, and I have had no safety issues with them. If you catch your foot, which I have done a few times, they roll down, but if you have balance issues, you may stumble, which is why I bought them. I set them up approx. for added security and peace of mind. 15 inches apart (good for me; you should measure your step to determine that distance) beside a dresser, so I can rest my hand on the dresser top for added stability as I step over the hurdles. That limits me to only four hurdles, but I use them frequently throughout the day or whenever I'm in my bedroom. I've seen a difference. I hope this information is useful.

Is this appropriate for children as young as eight years old?

Yes, absolutely; For all of my sprinters, ages 5 and up, I used speed hurdles.

It's made of thin material. They will warp if left in a warm environment. They'll warp if they're stepped on.

There are a lot of obstacles to overcome when it comes to using it

These obstacles have made me very happy. It was exactly as described. Because the plastic is a little flimsy, I'm not sure how well they'll hold up to a spill from my athletes, but hopefully it won't happen too often. My gym has gotten a lot better with this addition.

These hurdles were purchased to help with knee flexion following knee replacement surgery. These are the same ones that are used in physical therapy. In addition, I like the Velcro strap with handle, which makes storage and carrying a breeze.

It is a good deal

Used by a 12-year-old baseball team for two sessions. Even when landed on, it maintains its integrity. It would be nice if the set included six hurdles because it is lightweight and easy to transport. Because 5 is insufficient, I purchased two sets, but the boys' form appears to deteriorate when using 10.
