There are so many running belts on the market that are designed for smaller iPhones but are very large for my phone (Google Pixel 2 XL). I like this running belt because so far it fits my phone, even though it is somewhat snug. Although it doesn't bounce with a water bottle while running, it does make noise as you run. It disappointed me when I tried it out the day after I got it. had a bigger water bottle with me in it, and it bounced around like crazy. With the bottle on my hip, the best way to wear it was, but it interfered with my natural walking stride because my arm swing could not be made as it should. There was also a lot of bouncing, so I had to keep shortening the belt in attempt to reduce it. Next time I tried it, I used a smaller water bottle and it worked better, but it didn't impress me. There was still bouncing and constant adjustments were needed. This belt allows almost no bounce when I wrap it around my waist and pull it tight enough. Since the heat brings shorter runs, I have returned to my original run belt because this one is too awkward for shorter runs. I like this belt a lot more for hiking or walking around amusement parks. My disappointment was that I couldn't use it for the purpose I wanted it for. I will keep it for travel purposes.

We don't know how they decided this would be big enough for someone with a 55" waist.
