My feet stayed cool and clean for the first three runs, but after that, they performed just like any other sock. I can't wear them with some of my shoes because they're too thick. When I reach 5 miles after about a month, it appears that these socks allow my foot to move inside the shoe, causing discomfort and blisters. Short 3 mile runs and bike rides are ideal.
The socks are nice and thick. To keep my feet happy, I wear them while running long distances or mountain biking. They do make my feet sweat, but I expected that because they are so thick when I put them on. They have a slightly taller cuff that can be turned down or left up, which I like. This is a great feature. I've never understood why people prefer "no show" socks because they put too much pressure on your ankles when you run long distances. These are unmistakably crew socks, not "no show" socks. I really like these socks.
These are fantastic! They should be worn all of the time!.
It does what it's supposed to do. Excellent pair of socks for marathons or special runs; I used them for the Spartan race and they kept me super comfortable the entire time. It absorbs sweat and does not cause my feet to sweat. I'm thinking about getting a second pair.
I use them for hiking and find them to be very useful. I don't like hiking socks because they're too thick. These are the superior alternatives.
I used these socks for a mud run, and they were fantastic. They were cushioned and extremely comfortable. There are no blisters to be found.
Throughout the entire, my feet felt fantastic. For a Spartan Super run, I wore these socks. Throughout the race, my feet felt fantastic! After crossing a river and flowing through streams, the water drained quickly. I never experienced any pinching, rubbing, or discomfort while running in the sand and rocks for ten miles. By the end of the race, my feet didn't even resemble prunes! Great socks! (It's important to note).
