The size XXL fits my shoe size 11 and the XXL is too small. This is my fifth and final post A size XXL would have been way too big. This may be of some use to you.
I have only ever had one pair of these running socks, but they are some of the best I have ever used.

I can't get over how amazing these socks are. As I am writing this review, almost two years after my most recent pair (of Drymax Run Mini Crew, White/Grey XL Mens) have been delivered to me. Since I am not a super ultra marathon runner, I am not familiar with how they perform under those conditions. Most of my runs are between 2 and 3 miles A 3 mile trip. It is nice to have socks like this. Despite the mini crew being near the top, New Balance 990s remain the top. A good thing about buying small is the ability to save money. A toe bunch is not allowed.
I have not noticed a substantial difference in moisture absorption when compared to regular socks or other Drymax socks I have been using (which have worked very well). Also, I felt my toes were constrained in this sock when compared to other socks I've worn and other Drymax socks I've worn. I expect these will be noticeably better than socks from a store, say, for $8 a pair. I give them only a marginally better rating than Walmart. As I experienced with some of Drymax's other socks, they would be able to do much better.
