It's a no-brainer Spring is the perfect time to wear this jacket! Although there's no rain today, the weather is nice and sunny, but it's a little breezy and a little chilly at times. A big plus is that it has 50 sun protection, as well as being breathable. If you sweat or wash it very quickly, it will dry very fast. Weighing less than a pound, the fabric is lightweight. You should beware

You do not have proof of UV protection! This seller has a sketchy style! The jacket does not specify UPF 50+ (or any UPF, for that matter), and also did not have a tag directly attached to it indicating the level of protection provided by UPF. The seller replied to my public question asking for proof this jacket has been tested to determine its UPF rating, but it ended up disappearing! I read that this typically indicates the garment's UPF rating has not been determined, so I posted a public question asking for proof. Due to a couple of reasons, I don't trust the jacket to protect me against UVA and UVB rays. To begin with, I own various UPF garments from reputable brands (Columbia, Patagonia, Kuhl, etc. ), and all of them have UPF 50+ on the price tag attached to the garment as well as on a tag or label inside As a second matter, the light blue jacket that I received is super sheer, and I learned that UV light can pass through it if it can be seen through. If you look very closely, there are also very tiny holes in the weave, and UV light will pass through those as well. This UPF garment is sheer like none of the ones I have from reliable brands. In conclusion, if you are relying on this garment as a substitute for sunscreen and/or as a cancer-prevention garment, you probably shouldn't. There may not be a risk of burning while wearing it, but all it means is that UVB is adequately protected, which is easier to achieve because UVB doesn't pass through things as well as UVA does. what are you going to learn? It's a fact that UVA rays can cause skin cancer and photoaging. Generally, sunscreens sold in the US provide mediocre to poor protection to UVA rays, so I was looking for a garment that offered up to UPF 50+ to ensure This is a shame, as I love this jacket's light weight - it feels like you're wearing absolutely nothing, so I think it would be perfect for hot summer days if it provided reliable UPF protection. In any case, since this doesn't happen, you might as well skip this outer layer since you should probably be wearing sunscreen periodically anyway. This windbreaker will not fulfill your needs if you are just looking for a windbreaker. Even if it's better than nothing, it's simply not very versatile, and since it's close to nothing, it's not worth the money.

This (2) sun cover was purchased as a sun protection measure. This is *br1. Regardless of whether it says women's or men's, they have the same size. It is a straight cut with no curves, so it is great for men. Since I am only 5'2", it is long on me, like most of the clothes around me, but I wish it were made for women as it advertises it that way.
