He advised me to bring a windbreaker when I drove to my home state of New Hampshire for my 60th birthday (early September). That had never occurred to me! It's been a particularly hot summer in Ohio, so wearing a jacket was the last thing on my mind. I came across this lovely Levi's windbreaker. I got it for my trip, and I'm glad he advised me to bring one! On the NH coast we were exploring, it was very windy, but the wind never got past this jacket. There was no breeze shooting up my torso because I cinched the bottom part! The 3X was perfect for me because I'm a big lady. I'm always confident in Levi's sizing, even with older products. (Sorry for the long rant; I just adore Levi's. ) I couldn't believe my eyes when I came across this!.
This is one of the most beautiful jackets I've ever seen! It only lacks a detachable hood, which would be ideal. It would be helpful if the jacket was an inch or two longer, and I really wish the white netting material on the inside wasn't so tight. It feels heavier, and it doesn't glide as smoothly across your upper back as my old, and I mean old, one, which I'm finally getting rid of. Although, I've been in desperate need of a new jacket for over 20 years, and these are the best I've found. I purchased three colors in total. I'll remove the netting if there's a way to do so. It'll simply be more pleasant. It is more comfortable to wear.
I'm a postal worker, and I bought this jacket because I needed a lightweight hoodie for very windy days. It's ideal for chilly spring/fall days with a brisk breeze and rain. When it's cold outside, I like to layer it under my thicker postal coat for added warmth. It's also in good condition. made and tough enough to withstand a lot of use I would strongly suggest it.
It's crinkly and loud. I'd like it to be a little longer as well. Because I am a size 16, I purchased both the xxl and 1x sizes. They were both loose enough, but the 1x had to go around my hips because it was a little longer. The 1x was ruled out because it was too tight around my hips but too loose elsewhere. With the exception of the fabric, I would have kept the xxl.
I used to have one and outgrew it, so when Levi's brought them back, I was ecstatic. It's without a doubt my favorite jacket, and it's ideal for summer evenings at the beach or breezy spring days in Southern California. It's also very comfortable! I ordered a large, which is perfect for me. It's a little big, but I prefer it that way because the material doesn't stretch as much as a sweatshirt. I strongly advise you to order a size up from your usual size.
I can't believe how vibrant and lovely the red jacket is, especially for such a low price from such a reputable brand!! The retro look is fantastic. I'm a true medium (6) and occasionally a small, but based on reviews, I went with a Large and it fit perfectly. Nothing would be different if I were to do it all over again. I would strongly suggest it.
I bought this jacket for vacation because the forecast called for rain every day, and I'm convinced that since I bought it, we didn't have any rain for the entire week! It's very bright, so it'll be useful for crossing the street when it's raining at work.
