I bought them for my first Spartan Race and will purchase again. The quality is so good that I bought two more pairs to use in more trail races and Spartan races in the future. The socks I was wearing kept my feet much dryer than any other pair of socks I have tried due to the amount of mud and water on the course. They also remained clean when washed and retain their compression power.
The material is thin and very comfortable for my taste. There is not as much longevity with these as I would like. I already have a thin spot on the heels after wearing them for a couple months. While these socks are exactly the same as the original Ultimax Ironman socks (prior to Wigwam getting purchased out by them), they are nowhere close to the durability! Therefore, These thin socks tend to shrink in a dryer, but since they are so thin, you can probably just toss them into your sock drawer straight from the washer.
