Questions & Answers

How many steps does it record? Is it limited to 99,999 steps or does it record up to 1,000,000?

There's no way for me to In my case, I reset at midnight every day, so that I can see my daily total every day. The amount of steps I take in a day will never reach a million!

Could this pedometer be hooked to a leash so that it can be worn as a leash? The number of pedometers I have lost is already excessive. ?

My pedometer came with a clip that you attach to it. Once the clip is attached to clothing, you can wear it. You just have to clip it on to the slide Clips that are not tensioned are not as secure as metal clips. Honestly, I'm not sure if that would be secure. If the clip falls off without my noticing, it might cause me to lose my balance. This back is cut out with a small hole that goes through the back, but comes out of the side You would need something flexible to insert it and to make it turn around. I was able to thread a twisty tie through it so you could thread a thin flexible wire through it. I'm not sure how secure it would be either, but it's It is a problem for me to lose pedometers also, so I like this one which is convenient and reasonably priced. Wishing you the best of luck!

Would this work if I put it vertically in my soccer sock while I play?

There are three parts to this device An axis pedometer measures acceleration on three axes, so it can be used to measure walking speed This model has three axes (x, y, In reality, it is an accelerometer that monitors the time and temperature of each step using a computer algorithm In the case of small changes in the sample, they will be dropped. Because of this, I bet you will have no problem with measurement in soccer where most of the time a player is actually running. When they are running away from their opponents, their steps are firm and decisive. The Omron works horizontally as well as vertically. What I am not sure about is how you will secure it to your sock, but that is another issue altogether. Thank you for your time. I hope this was helpful.

Does your stride length vary based on how long you run? In what units does it measure distance?

Make sure you choose inches or centimeters for setting your stride. It shows the distance walked in miles instead of inches, which I prefer.

The number of steps taken every day and the distance traveled each day It was for a few reasons that I bought this pedometer
5/5

was only concerned about the steps I took, I was only looking for accuracy, and I just wanted my own stride. All of those things have been sent to me. It is my opinion that a pedometer does not measure your stride properly if it does not permit you to enter it (I find those to be inaccurate). There are seven days of data on this server. At midnight each night, it is automatically reset. Although there is some "lag," it is not too bad. As soon as you start walking, your steps will not be displayed until you make 5 steps The following 10 steps will help you. There is no need to worry, the steps you took will be accounted for. It has always been within a few steps, I have counted dozens of times. You will find a clip included with it. You can dig it into a pocket or tuck it into the tops of your pants. You can do the same thing while riding a bicycle! I like this Pedometer because it is a minimalist one that is not overly fancy, but does not have a high price tag either. Please tap "helpful" if this review has helped in any way. Sincerely, thank you.

There have been repeated resets of the unit
3/5

Since I bought two of these units two years ago, I have two more to go. As long as the original battery is still in good condition, they work fine. The problems started as soon as I put a brand new battery into it. Keeping that in mind, I put a much more carefully inspected battery in the device. One common problem I've encountered with both is that the units reset themselves randomly, and you have to start over It must be set to the initial parameters before the step count will begin As a matter of fact, I just returned from a walk and realized that I have to rewrite Start the computer THREE times by entering the startup parameters. It's not so good when you don't know the time when it resets, because then it loses track of the steps that you took. Before I go out to look for a new one, I'm writing this review first. In this case, I will not be buying an Omron pedometer since I want to try a different brand. If you are comfortable using a unit that will work for a few days before the battery runs out, then this is the one So, if you're looking for one that will last you for years to come, this is not the unit for you. It will depend on how you use it.

The count is accurate and honest
5/5

My favorite part about this pedometer is the display. The first one I received was part of a "healthy living" program I enrolled in, but I lost it recently. I had to buy another because I liked it so much. In conjunction with the 3 It doesn't need to be oriented any particular way to work when it has an axis accelerometer (like most smart phones). This belt clip can be worn on your belt, put in your pocket, or use it any way you like. Among the best features is that it identifies when a type of movement is not owned a lot of pedometers over the years, and those old mechanical movements give you a lot of fake Fitbit was a present I got for Christmas, but I ended up returning it because it was unable to count steps accurately. Although it's a cheap unit, it does an honest job of counting. It is great to have a seven-day memory feature and to automatically reset it to zero at midnight. It can be worn on your belt with the included clip, or you can carry it in the watch pocket of most jeans. It is thin and fits well in most jeans watch pockets. In terms of battery life, on my first one, I had to replace the battery after about 7.

It was really, really, really hard to like it
3/5

I appear to have received a dead battery already inserted in the device. There is a tiny screw that won't The design of this is thoughtful. )
& tell you how to flip over the battery without It's a classic. It's sort of like that. I experienced a problem due to my battery being upside down. I couldn't tighten the screws back up once I unscrewed the battery lid
Once I unfastened the battery lid, there was no way to tighten it again. (

When you use plastic threads, they can easily be A bit of a challenge is to get the phalanges to fit over the holes with the threads aligned AND getting the screw to be appropriately placed over the hole. Tomorrow, I will see how much more success I have. Unfortunately, I will have to return it if you don't want it.

I'd call it a pretty good pedometer
4/5

I have bought 5 so far. I would like to keep one for myself, and give one as a gift. Although "programming" the device at first seemed daunting, a close reading of the owner's manual finally made sense to me. when you get as close to your feet as possible, that the device becomes far more effective. A clip on your pants pocket or even a clip on the top of some well-fitted socks (socks that do not fall to the ground while you are moving) should help it be This device seems fairly "strict" in that it doesn't appear to count odd movements of your body. Clipping it to a belt or wearing it on a lanyard is a convenient alternative. A wrist fitness tracker also counts my steps for me when I walk, as it tracks arm movement when walking, etc. Being on my wrist, it counts a lot more steps. Wearing it near the feet also seems to provide better accuracy, i. e. wearing it close to the feet. The top of the sock should wrap around the ankle. Omron's pedometer is specific in that it does include a "clock" to display the time of day. It also allows setting metric calculations for ease. Miles should be changed to kilometers. If you are looking for something simple to count only the distance traveled, this is the best option. Please take note Tracking on stationary bikes doesn't seem to work that well. You should take care of yourself!.

The device we used dates back to 2014! This device was sold to me as new, no indication of used status appeared
3/5

The photo dates back to I had run out of battery! The quality has not been tested by me yet, but since someone else retuned it in 2014, I am not very optimistic about it. This has disappointed me greatly.

This pedometer is more accurate than any other I have This blood pressure cuff is made by the same people who produce my trusted The super slim size is perfect for putting into a I don't have pockets, the clip holds amazingly well, even after gardening for many hours, bending, squatting, carrying items, etc
5/5

There is ample chance for it to slip off after a long time, but it has never done so. There is a hole for carrying on a string if you'd like, and the design makes it impossible to push any buttons accidentally. The time will automatically reset each day if the time is set on it. My recommendation is to try it out.
