Questions & Answers

It gives the measurements of the shipping box in the description. Would it be possible to tell me the measurements of the pedometer?

I love this pedometer. It is 2 inches in diameter, and it stays firmly clipped to my waistband.

What measurement system should we use Which is better, the US or the metric system?

The distance measured by this pedometer does not take into account terrain The number of steps to be taken is the only thing that matters. In this case, there is no measuring system.

What is the best placement for the hips?

Wearing mine at the knee of my pants is very comfortable for me. I've placed it in any position in front of the mirror and it has worked fine. As for my hip, I have not yet tried it. As I read the title, I actually missed the "hip" part.

How does it calculate number of steps taking stairway to and from a building?

This is true. You can take as many steps as you like. Moreover, you can access the last seven days of counts on it.

It is spot on that step counter displays the right number of steps- I have an update for you should yours stop working

Pedometers with reviews like this one convinced me to buy it. The overall impression after using it for a month is that it is very good. Since I do not always remember to record my steps every day, I enjoy that it keeps 7 days of steps. There is also a clock on the unit, which is helpful to those of us who have problems wearing watches (something to do with It's not uncommon for me to destroy a watch after just a month of wearing it - these are As far as tracking steps goes, it is spot on. The product has never disappointed me and I've tested it time and time again. As a warning on reading steps, you'll start recording after the first 4 seconds of movement in order Initially, I wasn't sure why that was happening until I followed the directions a second time and realized that it In addition to that, it is extremely sturdy, as I have dropped it no less than four times without any issues. In the past year, I think I had it come off maybe 3 times, and I wear it every day. There is an easy solution to this issue. A small hole is located at the top of the clip. A safety pin can be used to attach it to the waistband. Thread a piece of string through the hole, tie a knot, and hang some of the string in a loop. There are less bulky leashes that cost about ten cents, and it costs about 10 cents. The cons are I'm pretty bulky-looking I find that it sticks out more than I would like under a shirt.
*There are no calories listed. Ah well, I still think that this is There is no easy way to read this- Since the digital part faces out, it is difficult to see how many steps you have taken at a given time. This is not enough to cause problems, and it is not a big deal.

The only thing I don't like is its weight. The cap is about the thickness of the cap on a Sharpie marker. When I wear my shirt tucked in, I will still use this pedometer. I ordered a thinner pedometer, but I'll use this one occasionally. I noticed one day that my pedometer stopped working for no apparent reason. I could see the clock, but no steps were being counted. When I placed the battery back in, I took it out to test it I found that it was dead There have been no changes. In my opinion, it was not a good decision. In the morning, it started working again after being left on the counter over night. You might try leaving it out for a few days after you've reset it through taking the battery out, just in case you happen to happen to anyone else.

I like I can deal with it. The new pedometer looks nicer than my old one, but within a few weeks I learned that I actually prefer the additional information provided by the larger model that is less attractive. I can assure you that this is in no way the fault of the manufacturer. In its description, the model clearly described what it does and is not capable of. As it turns out, I was oblivious to the fact that I felt as strongly as I do about having the additional information. Pedometers that only tell you your steps per day can be hard to find, but if you're looking for one that's reasonably priced, this may be for you. diameter is manageable at 2", and while it says to wear it on your hips, I found it worked just as well clipped to my bra. I think you can wear it anywhere that is centrally located on your body.

This is a fantastic little device A pedometer I own is by far the best that I have Pedometers I previously owned were inaccurate and rather flaky (they were lacking in technology, which in this case may not have been a negative thing, but in this instance it was due to the fact that they were inaccurate in some cases)
5/5

Unlike many pedometers, this one features a bit more advanced "counting" mechanism that is not just a ball moving inside the pedometer but is coupled with a movement of a needle As far as counting is concerned, there is no clicking sound. Among all the features on the site, I find the reset feature to be the most useful. The device does not have a reset button, so the number of steps you've taken will not be accidentally reset. Having this problem in my other pedometers was frustrating for me. In this device, a reset button resets itself at midnight every single day (there is also a digital clock on its screen that is quite helpful). Moreover, it does not count a movement as a step if it is a movement that one would otherwise count. In order to do so, it only counts consecutive movements lasting for at least four seconds each. You will continue to be counted until you stop moving after 4 seconds. there was no movement longer than 4 seconds, it simply indicated there were no steps Taking the pedometer as a whole, it is VERY reliable. The pedometer is very accurate and does not have a reset button, so I recommend it to anyone looking for an accurate pedometer.

I really like this entry - The pedometer is set at the level

These are two of them, one for me and one for my wife, so that we can try to walk 10,000 steps every It is smooth and easy to wear so it does not snag on clothing or furniture, and the clip is strong and wide enough to attach to any clothing or belt securely and easily. While I love the feature that resets inventory each day at midnight, it might not be convenient for someone working 3rd shift since this counter resets every night at midnight. In the event you are a working professional, I would suggest purchasing the black version as it will blend better into your wardrobe. The paint started coming off my Krylon plastic fusion paint after a couple of hours of painting. Be aware that this is the low end model, which is only for counting It is strongly recommended that you buy the HJ-100 if you can afford it Step counting AND distance measurement are combined in Article 151. While we were at Disney World last week, my wife and I walked 25,000 steps a day on average! That would be amazing if you could tell me how many miles are in it.

It's a simple pedometer that helps me quantify my daily walking distance
5/5

I purchased it mainly for the purpose of determining whether I get 10,000 steps in Despite the fact that I frequently forget I am wearing it, it doesn't cause any noticeable obstruction to my vision. One time it fell off, but I did that because I positioned it so that when I was carrying a laundry basket on my hip, the clip part pushed against it I was pointed out to it by your friend as well as how it can fall victim to the cheater's trick of shaking it and it will still count steps, but when by not fooling the machine it can be very accurate. Moreover, I have found that the clock feature can be rather convenient, although it would be even more convenient if it had a backlight Light is good. In general, I find it to be very useful for casual use.
