Has anyone checked the accuracy of their kardia 6 lead results against an actual doctor-administered ekg?

a unique reviewbr>My husband purchased the Kardia monitor as a result of the Covid- It's risky even to see a Cardiologist at 19; she had to go this past Thursday, so I had an Echocardiogram and then went to see my Cardiologist, who I've been sending ekg reports to since December. "I have one just like it, and you only use two fingers on each hand, I really like it," he said when I showed him my EKG monitor. It also printed cleaner than their previous one, according to his office. br>I have rheumatic heart disease and have had my mitral valve (porcine) and aortic valve replaced. To name a few, there is mitral valve stenosis and regurgitation. Since 2007, I've been using browsers to view my own EKGs. Thank you

Is the omron connect us/can app compatible with it?

The KardiaMobile single lead mobile EKG will be accepted by my OMRON Connect App, but not the 6-lead mobile EKG. lead.

This device is incredible; I am a cardiologist, and this device is incredible to me
5/5

br>br>For context, an EKG performed in a doctor's office has 12 leads. From the age of five, I owned an AliveCor device. - 6 yrs It was groundbreaking in that it allowed you to see ONE of the 12 EKG leads. The AppleWatch, which was released last year, also includes ONE of the EKG's 12 leads. For the most part - When it comes to irregular heart rhythms (commonly referred to as "atrial fibrillation"), only one lead is required. However, if you need anything else, please contact us. More leads are required. So, with this new device providing six out of twelve leads, it's simply amazing. A doctor can now look at this and see not only the heart rhythm, but also the axis, conduction abnormalities, and even ischemic changes (i. e. Symptoms of a heart attack in their early stages). br>br>To be honest, I'm not sure if an EKG should be taken on a regular basis for the average person. But being able to take EKGs with this device is incredible for clinicians; I've used it while traveling abroad and at parties with friends and family. At dinner the other night, I was able to detect an asympatomatic EKG abnormality ("WPW") in a friend. In the future, I can see doctors prescribing this device to people with racing heartbeats on a medical basis - Because current EKG monitors only provide one lead, this could potentially provide a lot more data - if the patient had the device in his or her possession at the time of the incident Regardless, AliveCor deserves a pat on the back for pushing healthcare technology forward.

This is something that every person should own
5/5

I'm 31 years old and have had palpitations for about ten years, so this device may have just saved my life. I never felt any pain during the palpitations, but I do get a lot of soreness afterward. For the past six years, I've been in excruciating pain. br>br>EKGs were performed on me several times, and they were all normal. My pain was dismissed by the doctors. They assumed it was simply a case of stress and panic attacks. I could tell it was different, but I couldn't prove it. The doctors advised against using a holter monitor because it occurs infrequently (every few months or so). I agree, but prior to this, there was nothing on the market that empowered patients. br>br>After a few weeks with this device, I've finally captured my condition. Atrial fibrillation was the source of the problem. I had no idea that murmur or flutter was afib. I was always worried about what would happen next: Soreness and pain in the chest. My EKG, on the other hand, was always normal at that point because my heart had already corrected its rhythm. I had an AFib episode last night. br>br> I decided to use Kardia to record an EKG, and it revealed that I might have atrial fibrillation. I took it several times over a two-hour period, and the results were consistent. When I arrived at the hospital, they were taken aback by the fact that I had diagnosed myself using this device; they initially mistook me for a nervous patient until they saw it on the GE monitor. I knew I had captured an AFib when I saw the EKG match what I saw on kardia, having worked as an engineer in the GE diagnostic cardiology department. My heart had been stuck in AFib for about 8 hours and had to be shocked before it could be brought back into rhythm with medication. As a patient, I feel victorious because I've done my part and the rest is up to the doctors to figure out. I can finally let out a sigh of relief now that I've figured out what's wrong with me. br>br>It's unfortunate that I have heart problems at such a young age. I am, however, relieved that this agony may soon be over. Thank you so much, AliveCor.

It's not a good idea to purchase it
3/5

I bought this product after hearing so much about it. There is no start button or lead to begin the reading, as it turns out. On the app and in the unit's instruction booklet, the directions are terrible! The majority of the links will take you to a page where you can purchase the device, which I have already done! Items you want to use but are displayed as other measurements are all part of the premium program when scrolling through the app! More money to be spent!.

A Medical Miracle of Minor Importance In your pocket is a six-lead ECG
5/5

My cardiologist claims that he can perform a wide range of tests on the 6L product that he couldn't do with just a single lead ECG. When I showed it to him, he couldn't believe his eyes, but because he knew the company, he said he trusted the wave form and felt very comfortable making interpretations. I would strongly suggest it.

6 or a single In your pocket, you'll find a lead EKG
5/5

For the past 18 months, I've been using Kardia with the original (microphone-coupled) sensor. Monitoring my heart function has proven to be extremely beneficial. Since 2003, when I was undergoing chemotherapy, I've had PVC'c (missing or added heartbeats). It's been a problem where I've had to sit down to keep from passing out on occasion. I wished I had an EKG with me at these times so I could figure out what was wrong with my heart. br>br>I purchased the original sensor, which has proven to be extremely useful in tracking my heart rhythm and determining what was causing the erratic beat. Over the course of this time, I've taken hundreds of EKGs. My cardiologist would examine them and read the EKG to figure out what was going on. br>br>When this sensor was announced, I purchased it right away. It satisfies both the 6-minute and the 10-minute requirements. EKGs with two leads, as well as the original single-lead EKG. It connects via Bluetooth and is unaffected by background noise. It turns out that I still prefer single leads because I can get a good sense of what's going on from them. br>br>I haven't found any of my devices that aren't compatible with it, and none of them are on Karida's list of compatible devices. Mine have worked on both of my ASUS Zenphones (3-year-old and 3-year-old, respectively). My old iPad (with zoom and 5Z), as well as my new Samsung Galaxy Tab S5Z tablet I recently downloaded the Kardia app from the Google Play store. All of them were flawless. br>br>I keep this sensor in my pocket and use it to record my EKG before, during, and after exercise so that I can tell if I'm dehydrated and track how exercise affects my heart function (which is improving). Caffeine causes a LOT more PVCs in my heart, so I try to avoid it as much as possible. br>br>If you're worried about your heart, this is the supplement you'll need. You can see exactly what's going on, just like you would if you went to your cardiologist, but you can do so at any time and from any location. I can't say enough good things about it.
