Questions & Answers
Is there an ANT interface for reading a heart rate sensor on the TRUE treadmill? Yes, if you have a Garmin or Wahoo sensor that you can attach to the strap. It won't do anything if it doesn't have a sensor because it's just a strap.
It's just a new strap, right? To connect to the strap, you'll still need a Garmin or Wahoo HR sensor. Yes, it will work as long as you have the sensor. It won't do anything if you don't have a sensor.
Yes, Peloton's snap-on monitor is compatible. After a year or two, the peloton strap begins to lose connectivity. Peloton requires you to purchase the entire system, including the monitor and the strap. The straps are not available on their own. The peloton snap-on monitor is compatible with this strap.
Yes, as long as the back buttons are raised (rather than recessed), it should be fine; if you have any problems, send us a message and we'll be happy to help with refunds and returns.

My Wahoo Tickr strap had issues; I shifted it a little on a ride because the unit didn't seem to be communicating, and it *popped* one snap undone, causing it to start sliding off your body because the two snaps are how you fasten it to your body. br>This one has its own closure and is a perfect fit for my Tickr. The Wahoo strap began to peel away from the pads as well, but so far it appears that this will not be a problem. After four weeks, I'm liking this a lot more.
Dual. I lost my original Garmin HRM-Strap, and this is a great replacement. I was looking for a dual and didn't want to spend $35 on a Garmin branded unit, so I took a chance and purchased this before reading any reviews. br>br>So far, it's working as well as the original. I only used it once, but it was comfortable enough for a 90-minute mountain bike ride; I'll update this review if my feelings about it change. br>br>7/24/20 Update: br>br>I'm still using the band, and it's great; I've probably put 200 miles on my bike with it. It is both comfortable and durable. Probably outlasts the original Garmin band. br>br>Unfortunately, the price appears to have nearly doubled since I bought it. At this price point, I'm not sure I'd choose it over other brands. Due to the significant increase in cost, I reduced my stars from 5 to 4. br>br>Update 3/5/2021: br>br>I'm bumping this up to 5 stars again. This band is far superior to the Garmin unit that came with my HRM. Since I purchased the HRM band, there have been no signs of stretching or loss of elasticity. br>br>I've worn it for over 1000 miles of cycling. It's just like the OEM bands in terms of accuracy. br>br>It appears that the price has changed, and after a more thorough review, I believe the price is excellent. Don't hold off on purchasing it! There's no need to spend more money on OEM or brand-name equipment. br>br>1/11/2022 Update: br>br>This unit is still in excellent condition. The band is in good condition and has not been stretched. Suitable for 3 people. Rides that last 4 hours br>br>Supports Garmin HRM without a hitch.
WAHOO TICKR is compatible. My wahoo tickr's original strap broke, so I bought this to replace it. It didn't register right away the first time, but once it did, it's worked flawlessly ever since. It's now picked up by all of my devices.
When I contacted customer service, they told me that the problem was most likely caused by the battery or the strap. I changed the batteries several times before concluding that they were in good condition. As a result, I ordered the strap, which worked perfectly. Even though my original order was over a year old, these guys went above and beyond by sending me new batteries. They also informed me that the straps (all chest straps) would only last about a year, which I had no idea about. I've been riding for 35 years and have replaced a dozen HRMs because I thought it was a bad idea. I had no idea the straps had such a brief lifespan. Bottom line: I highly recommend this manufacturer's product as well as their customer service.
I prefer the hook and closure system to the connections system used by Wahoo. I believe it is more comfortable, provides a better fit, and is less taxing on the technology in use (for those of us who don't remove the sensor every time). It could also increase the strap's overall durability. This replacement reads accurately, fits well, and is easy to clean (obviously, the sensor must be removed before washing). I'm overjoyed with the product, and the price is even better!.
Because I use them so much, I've already ordered three of them. I bought them to replace the strap on my Wahoo Tickr X, which is terrible. These straps are great because they can be washed for months and still work fine. br>The only problem I've seen is that they sometimes use a snap that is way too tight. br>The Tickr strap does not last at all and even if you wash it a couple of times (gently) it still falls apart. This forces you to apply a lot of pressure to them, and once you do, THE SNAP WILL NOT HOLD. I had to return one strap due to this issue, and I received a replacement strap that had almost the same issue. I was able to save it by snapping the Tickr monitor several times before a run, forcing the snap to adapt. br>So the strap is great and lasts a long time, as long as you don't get those overly tight snaps.
In contrast to what was shown (box), it arrived in a deficient (plastic) packaging. I tried it once with H7 and it worked perfectly. It's very relaxing. We'll have to wait and see how long it lasts. If it lasts four hours and thirty minutes, it'll be considered a success. It would be a bargain if you did one minimum workout per week for a year (normal use).
This was purchased to replace my Wahoo Tickr's shoddy strap. So far, there have been no problems; my sensor always pairs with my head unit right away and never drops. During rides, the strap is also very comfortable. It's also worth noting that, despite having the 2020 3rd gen Tickr, the strap appears to be compatible with that sensor. It was fine after I gave it a firm snap. YMMV.
