As a former paramedic, I found the technology behind this device fascinating, as it determines your most reliable reading depending on where you place the leads or simply hold it to your body. The only drawback is that you must remain perfectly still for one minute or it will stop and restart; however, for the price, it is not a bad buy. Wish there was a bigger screen or a way to send the signal to my laptop.
I'm not sure what I'm saying. My malware prevention software flagged the website that required the use of the device as unsafe, so I returned it.
An abnormal EKG is not the same thing as requiring a bypass. Because the "plumbing" has become clogged, a bypass is required. The electrical current is measured with an EKG.
A 12- A lead EKG performed in a doctor's office or hospital may be able to determine whether the electrical current flowing through various axis of your heart is slowed due to dead or scarred heart muscle. That can only be seen by someone who has been trained to do so. This is a single-lead EKG trace that only records electrical activity. It's useful to know how fast your heart is beating and whether the rhythm is regular or irregular. Is it atrial fibrillation or something else, if it's irregular?

compared. After using the Elmay EKG for a while, I decided to purchase this one because I believe it is superior to the Elmay EKG for the following reasons: The color touch screen is easy to use and read, and it comes with two monitoring options (cables and touch). You can play the EKG back on the unit, download via Bluetooth to your phone, or connect to a computer and view the EKG and convert it to PDF to email (I tried this and it worked great). You can also do 30s, 60s, or (5min with cable) monitoring, adjust the amplitude, and place the electrodes in different places. This isn't a true multi-player game. or 12-volt battery You could change the electrode placement for different views, but you couldn't change the lead. You'll see PVCs, PACs, AFib, and other irregularities, but it won't give you a technical readout for diagnosis, so you'll need to know how to read an EKG or send it to your doctor for evaluation. The Elmay performed admirably as a handheld device, but you can't see the EKG unless you plug it into a computer (no screen review, no cable for longer monitoring, no Bluetooth, no PDF, etc. ). br>As someone who suffers from heart problems, I would strongly recommend this device for the price. If you want to use the leads, which are much clearer, they come with reusable electrodes, but you'll need to purchase more (you can buy any snap type electrodes, not just the ones they send you). It comes with a small soft pouch, but I upgraded to a more durable pouch to keep everything together. I hope this has been of assistance.
I'm a retired physician who has volunteered to monitor atrial fibrillation in three nursing homes. I purchased this monitor instead of a large ekg. Unfortunately, the first one was defective, but the company quickly replaced it with a new one post script 11/23/2021 I have used it at least ten times per week and it is perfectbr>Dr. ralph levy.
Doctor with 8 stents and two bypasses in the emergency room. I needed a way to keep track of my heartbeat in case it became irregular. This was precisely what I was looking for. It is adequate for the task. Thank you for providing the best unit at a reasonable price. br>.
Pros:
1. small and light weightbr>2. Without reading the manual, I learned how to use it by watching a short YouTube video. br>3. I used it with my Windows PC after downloading the program from the company's website to check the reports and save them in either PDF or PNG format to protect my privacy. I've also disabled access to the internet for the program.
4. It appears to be correct to me. It's very good at detecting all of my skipped heartbeats and irregularities.
5. The display is very clear and responsive. cons: br>br> br> br> br> br> br>
1. I wish there was a way to monitor without a time limit while using the electrodes provided. With the help of a holster and a portable power bank, this is possible. As a result, I believe the 5-minute feature is ineffective.
2. Instead of AAA batteries, it has a built-in lithium battery, which is more powerful and lasts much longer.
3. It is connected to the computer via a USB cable that is unique to it.
To begin, I purchased the sonohealth ecg, which I chose because the sonohealth lacked a lot of features and the app was unreliable. br>Now it's time to move on. br>br>First, I'll go over the disadvantages. br>br>1. In 2020, it's difficult to imagine not being able to connect to a Mac. I'd have to find a PC to use in order to perform any software updates.
2. I like that they include a soft case to protect the phone, but a case that also carried the charger would be more convenient. This may seem like a big request, but if you don't have anything that uses that cable, it's a pain to have to carry it around separately if you're going on vacation or something. br>4. If they don't provide a case with the features listed above, at the very least sell one separately, as sonohealth does. br>br>Now for the advantages,br>br>1. The display is stunning, and the touch screen is incredibly responsive. br>2. It's convenient to be able to save ecgs directly on the device in case you can't send them to your phone right away. This is convenient for me because I can see it right away when I play it back.
3. I also like that you don't have to use the app to delete them from the device itself.
4. The size is actually smaller than it appears in the photos, and the proportions are better than the sonohealth.
5. The 5-minute record is fantastic and extremely useful, particularly if I'm in afib/svt for an extended period of time. br>6. There are more, but this should give you an idea.
So, first and foremost, I am a retired Cardiac Intensive Care Nurse. I ordered this because I was having heart palpitations and wanted to see if the FLBs were the cause. (Funny Little Beats) and to determine whether or not they were dangerous. For 15 minutes, the gadget was great. After troubleshooting, it appears that a broken wire or cable is the source of the artifact. I haven't had time to contact the company to see if they can send me a replacement cable/wire/lead because I've been fighting covid. When I saw what my ticker was doing, it saved me from having to pay for a cardiology visit. The palpitations went away after I took some magnesium. BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT If you're tracking an arrhythmia that you're going to your doctor to have evaluated, this is a great tool to have. I'm hoping for a new set of cables and wires from the company.
