The exterior case is sturdy, the interior fits Kardia perfectly, and the elastic strap keeps it in place. br>br>I gave it four stars instead of five because of the following:
1. The zipper is small and feels flimsy / fragile; only time will tell how well it holds up, but I'm not holding my breath.
2. The small carabiner is a clever idea, but it's flimsy and attached to the zipper pull. I wouldn't put my faith in it to keep the case together.
3. On the other side of the pouch, there's an interior pocket. It is, however, far too small to be useful. I planned to keep some alcohol pads in it, but the pouch is too small to fit even those. I wish the case was a little bigger and had enough room inside for some useful accessories, or if it didn't have the pouch at all and was thus smaller. br>br>Overall, it remains a good value for the money, and I would purchase it again. It's something I wish had come standard with the Kardia device, so I'm glad it's now available. The snug/secure fit of this case for the Kardia unit, as well as the protection it provides, remain excellent.
I ordered a kardiamobile 6L unit and a case from the company directly, but the case was too small and didn't work, so I returned it and ordered this one instead. I'm not sure if the unit's dimensions have changed, but the case's depression is too small for the unit to fit in. Having said that, the case is large enough for me to keep. br>br>It's a well-made case at a reasonable price. It arrived almost immediately.
Okay, it could have been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. As a result, I made a trade. The second one was identical to the first, so I'm giving it a 2/10 and won't attempt a third!.
This does not appear to be appropriate for the device. That is to say, it does not appear to be custom-made for the unit. I can fit the unit inside, but not in the way it's shown, so it appears to be compatible but not designed for it.
For me, this is an excellent little case. I can monitor my Afib with the EKG, and it helps me keep it close by so I don't miss an opportunity to capture the data for my cardiologist. There is a pouch for keeping medicines, and it's perfect for a pill case. Fortunately, I will not have to use it.
Not only do I keep my Kardia 6L in the case, but it also fits older models. The units are protected by the case, which is fairly hardpack. On one side, I place my 6L under the elastic band and it sits flush in the hard padding, and on the other side, there is elastic netting where I place my older Kardia (one lead equivalent).
This tiny device fascinates me! My primary care physician expressed skepticism about these devices, but the cardiologist was impressed by the results. In fact, the same company makes the five-day monitor that they use in their office.
When traveling with your Kardia in a carry-on suitcase, backpack, or purse, this case is ideal. Excellent value for money!.
